Very hard material. Quizzes are open book, but the questions are often very confusing. He is old fashioned, but nice. The lectures are difficult to understand because the material is difficult. He takes attendance every class and will scold you if you don't do the hw. I ran out of time on the tests and quizzes. This is a lot of material.

A lot of people say he is hard, but the material is hard! This class is challenging, but proffesor Darbandi motivates me to want to learn. This is just a hard subject over all. He teaches well and is very helpfull during office ours. He is a very sweet proffessor and you can tell he cares about his students because he wants you to learn.

manegerial statistics is not an easy course. H's old fashioned but he works with you.Every week there is a quiz but it's open book and if you take your time you can do well. Tests are difficult, but theres only about 10 problems. If you do the HW he assigns, attend class and take notes on the problems he revies, you'll do fine.

Tis guy is really mean and strict. I would def recommend someone else. he gives lots of homework and scolds you if you don't do it. Quizzes are hard and Tests are harder. Im in the class now. recommend someone else.

The worst teacher ever!!! Very old fashioned, tests are impossible -closed book & a quiz every week. I would look for another teacher you don't stand a chance. Does not curve. ok So this professor is the worst in Cal Poly Pomona. He doesn't know how to teach this class, he gives no examples and only stands and talks. Exams are super hard. There is a quiz every week. Final is even harder. Around 75% of students failed his class. Even the students who did good gave him a bad rating.

If you are not a numbers cruncher and/or have an abnormal love of statistics, you'd better look for another Prof. This one will not explain things he feels you should know and teaches the class as though it were an upper-division Math major's core course. FYI, I did get a B+ in TOM301, so I'm not a completely math illiterate.
