He's very helpful and wants students to understand material. However, if you do bad on his tests expect him to give you grief when you approach him about a bad test grade. He will put you down. Aside from that, he's a very fair professor. One other thing is that he should stick to teaching traditional cs concepts and not be all over the

Best professor EVER. Very helpful and very smart. This guy will help anyone out and doesn't teach for money. Highly respected staff member and anyone as a CS major should definitely try to get him as a professor

This was one of the better classes at Poly. Definitely knows the subject. He explains things decently. Tests were medium to trivial difficulty and he gave out lots of As. I regret that I missed him for Computer Networking.

He's a good prof. He does work alot from the slides, but if you're stuck on something he'll help out. During his presentations he shows applets that demonstrate the topic he's talking about. And, he knows the material VERY well.
