Currently taking this professor online, SUPER EASY. Just do your weekly discussions and the tests are all on quizlet. Easy A. Only one essay paper 1,500 words, just write your concerns and opinions on public policy. Textbook not used for his online class trust me.

There are weekly discussion posts, 3 tests overall (each has 25 multiple choice, 25 t/f), and one 1500 word paper. He posts lecture notes on canvas with all the information you need for the tests and discussion posts, so there is no need to buy the book. The class is super straight-forward and can be really easy if you stay on top of due dates.

Took his class online during the summer. There were weekly discussions (just your personal opinion), 3 exams, and 1 term paper (on a topic of your choice). The exams are based on the study guides posted on canvas. The textbook is not required, since all the information can be found in the lectures. I would highly recommend this taking class.

There were 16 discussions, one for each week. He does not care about word count or responding to classmates, just the quality of your response. He has his lectures on 20 page PDFs. There are 3 tests: 2 midterms and a final. They are 50 questions, 25 MC and 25 T/F, timed for 1 hour. There is a term paper due at the end, try to get a head start.

Took this class on 5/27/2019 - 7/5/2019 super easy class. No textbook required for online. He gives you his notes to read which is amazing. To pass the test, just read. It's all about repetitions and getting a good understanding of Political Science.

This class was not hard. Any student who says differently on here is really just lazy. There are a lot of discussions, four exams (including the final) and one term paper that is 1,500 words. I promise, that is NOT a lot of words. I completed that a few hours before it was due and received 98/100. Just put in work and you will be fine!

Finished sem with 97%. Tips: read lectures and work on study guides for tests; textbooks NOT needed, did not open once. Discussions are easy: just participate, you'll get the points. Follow instructions for paper, he's an easy grader. Just focus on the 3 tests by reading lectures bc tests are game changers for some students. I loved this class.

Super cool professor. There was a discussion every week, like 3 tests, and a 1500 word paper. That's it. Take this teacher for POLSC1 if you've got a busy schedule.

Worst class I have ever taken, this will for sure mess up my GPA. He needs to ease up on the tests, all these notes i've printed using all of my ink do not help with the tests at all. The 1500 word term paper is way too much, it's all just irritating! If you are not into politics, you will despise this class.

Weekly discussion and responses. 3 tests, which aren't the easiest, but if you follow the study guide then they aren't bad. There is one term paper (1500 words). I thought Professor Baxter was a very easy grader. Lots of reading but I didn't read the textbooks, only the lectures. Make sure to read all of the lectures and do the study guides.

Easy class. Just do the work and you'll get an A. Course work: 16 weekly discussions due by Sunday, one easy term paper, and three game changer tests. Your grades relies on the tests. Tests are based off of the lecture material and some of the book. So getting the book is your choice really. Helped me a little. Tests easy if you read lectures.

The professor is amazing. The tests are really hard and they do affect the overall grade a lot. Other than that it isn't too hard of a class.

Easy class overall. 3 tests (50 questions each), 1 term paper (1500 words) and weekly discussion. Majority of the points are in the tests and term paper so you have to do good in those and the tests are difficult. MUST read lectures to pass tests. You only have 1 hour so you don't have time to look up the answers. Do NOT buy the books, do not use.

Took his online political science class and it was honestly the easiest class I ever took. You have to participate in a weekly discussion thread based on the readings for the week so prepare to read a lot. There is a term paper. His lectures are easy to understand and quizzes are easy as long as you read the material beforehand. Great prof overall.

His grading focuses on the test. You have a weekly discussion but don't stress over them. If you participate you get the points. The test are a little difficult if you don't read or follow his modules. I passed all four. Some were very low but I passed the class with a B.
