Kerry is serious about her CI. It's an easy class if you work at it, but it's tough if you have no interest. She helped write the textbook for the class, so its basically the key to success. If you don't read the assigned chapters, it will be difficult to pass the important tests. However, if you slip up, she always allows corrections.

Such a sweet lady. Most classes consist entirely of copying from the board and I did not feel like there was much time to process what we were learning, but she was very helpful at answering questions. She also is not the kind of teacher who will fail a student who at least put forth effort and regularly attended class.

I took the Food to Live/Die For C/I course. Its easy & straight-forward as long as you don't slack off. She used the book for tests, instead of her lectures. She goes really fast during lectures, so it's hard to take everything down. But she uploaded her presentations into Moodle, so I was able to get notes there. Overall, I highly recommend her.

Whoever said that Dr. Brock grades on a curve is either mistaken or the information is out of date. She is one of the most fair professors I know, and your effort is directly correlated to your grade. There's nothing else to it. Great teacher, highly recommended. Do the homework and you're fine.

Dr. Brock is not a very good lecturer and she can be scatterbrained at times. She also over-explains simple concepts and glosses over difficult material.

She grades you against the rest of the class. I.e. Top 5% of class gets an "A" next 3% get "A-". So if you rock at stats then this is for you. But if you want a grade that reflects your effort in the class, this is not for you.
