Damico is funny, but isn't helpful to students. I was struggling in his class and he refused to help me. I had only missed one class, too, due to an illness. Wouldn't recommend him.

Took a political science theory class and was very interested in it. Was difficult and made an effort to do well, but found myself struggling. Asked him to assist me and he brushed me off. Avoid him!

THE worst teacher I have had in my 3 and a half years at UI. You will think his class is not too bad in the beginning but his exams are extremely hard and he does not prepare you in lectures very well for them. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS!

He is a good teacher, tough, but good. Essays are easier than multiple choice. He likes creative writing assignments...you know...like writing a letter to a dead guy. Just go with it, embrace it, and you will get a good grade. Also, he's a typical snobby liberal...but I think he acts that way just to get a rise out of you.

His seminar class on the Faces of Injustice truly changed the way I look at life. He is by far the most amazing professor I have ever had. True, he is very tough, especially at first, however, earn his respect and you will be blown away.

Need some advice on this professor? I just flat out wrote in my papers that the authors we were reading were completely stupid and angry people. I defended it, and ended up with an 'A' in the class.Do your work,show up, and don't fear. He can smell

Awesome dude. Material is salient and really interesting. It's funny to hear him make fun of people, and he's not making fun of people anyways, he's just setting them strait in funny, entertaining ways. Don't say dumb stuff and he won't 'make fun of you'.
