Although I took this course a few years ago, I'm sharing my thoughts now on this professor. Probably won't care about what is said here because she has moved up to Vice-Dean position. Gets easily offended and defensive when you mention that things are wrong or find fault with her leadership. Get off your high horse and reach the mortals, Dean.

This class is very easy just do the hw, project, & you will be fine on the exam. The teacher can be a beach sometimes especially when you ask her for paper for the printer. She gets offend & says "its not part of my job" beach just put some paper in the printer.

took her for info 273 it was a hybrid class but you had to come to class for 4 mandatory meetings very helpful if you ask for help i brought the books but did not need them i got an B in her class the case study can be a bit difficult but start on them early and go to the lab for assistance

Great professor. She explains everything clearly. 4 tests, 3 study cases - fun to do (learnt a lot doing them) and some homework. I highly recommend this professor.

The professor was very helpful. 3 tests, HW collected every class and graded (which only helps you, one group project. I would definitely recommend taking this class with prof. Hollister.

If you do all the work you will be just fine. ALways ask for help if you needed. She is good with emails. I miss one assignment for Access because it was extremely difficult but I try. I email her and she was very understanding. Got an A. Good and very intelligent professor.

Considering this was a hybrid class I only had to see her 3 times during the semester; the first class, and two mandatory classes. all homework, projects, and exams are done online. if you aren't computer literate, you can go in during normal class hours and she is there to help you, altough i never had to and got an A in the class. good teacher.

Great Teacher, all assignments explained clearly with deadlines,very helpful and always cares about students,just do what she asks for in class and put your effort in it, you are guranteed an A. I highly recommend this Professor. One of the best teachers @ MSU.

Hmm, where should I start. Hollister is not bad, but she's not good either. She is very helpful, but only if your on her good side. Just be a good student and you'll be fine. The work can alternate from easy to hard very quickly. Some of the assignments were very, very hard. Honestly, I don't know what else to say. her class need to be experienced.

I have mixed feelings about this prof. The material u r responsible for is too erradict in difficulty. A test in her class can be very easy were as her project is way over the top asking you to do things she NEVER covered in class. But,she is a fairly leanient grader and will usually make herself avail for questions. EMAIL RESPONSE = SLOOOOOOOOOOW!

This class focuses on database design and VBA programming. Dr. Hollister is extremely helpful and available outside of class. If you want to learn alot and are willing to put in the time, I'd suggest taking this class.

The assignments she gives are ridiculous, ranging from something a 7 year old can do, to something extremely difficult..Make sure she grades your assignments cause she might skip them and you won't get a grade..Attendance isn't mandatory, that's the only good part of this class

She's pretty nice but very strict with her assignments. The class is online except for test days and you're better off doing the homework in class instead of home b/c she does it for you. Easy A if you do all the work. (not bad)

3 exams, class attendance--no policy, complete all work from home & submit via blackboard. responds to e-mails quickly and is willing to help whenever needed. tutorials are a vital part of doing well on the actual exam!overall great class, but requires a lot of work!

SHE was a pretty good professor for Intro to Computers in Business. PLEASE dont rate a professor you haven't taken. Everything was online on SAM2003 and the material wasn't bad.
