Comment:

Show up to class, and pass. 4 Speeches and nothing else. She has very useful lectures and group activities that will help you on the speeches. She is very honest and straightforward with lectures, which is fantastic. She makes great use of lectures and her experiences as examples, Do's and Don'ts, and what she expects on every speech. I recommend!

The best professor I've ever had! She was so great and funny. Just show up and you will get an A. The class is sometimes intimidating but she made the classroom environment very comfortable. And I actually learned a lot! We have 4 tests I think and they were all take home. Super easy and fun class (She reminds me of Phoebe from friends)

She was one of the best professors I've ever had! Her class is super easy and she gives out lots of extra credit if needed. You just have to show up to class to get full points but that's super easy to do and her class is very enjoyable, I highly recommend taking her class!

Professor is a really good lady and person. Class was very enjoyable to go to and she made the class really fun and shes really funny and cares about the students! However, when it comes to grading of the speeches, shes a tough grader. A little ultra stingy. Dings points for littlest things and outlines are graded very tough. Still a good choice

Kim really helped my fear of public speaking. Very kind, easy going, and genuinely cares for all of her students. She brought our entire class together like a family rather than a "learn and go home" type of class. Introduction speech, informative speech, persuasive speech, impromptu speech.

Comment:

This was one of my favorite classes I have ever taken. Prof. Stankovich is the best at what she does, and will prepare you so well to not only improve your public speaking, but for life after college. She truly wants you to succeed. 4 speeches and 3 take home tests (she drops one so I only had to take 2). I could not recommend her enough.

Pro. Stankovich is amazing! I would highly recommend taking any of her classes. Not only is she hilarious, she is a great teacher. I have learned so many life lessons about becoming a better communicator and how to overcome conflicts. There are 3 take home exams and one final paper. If you have perfect attendance you will receive extra credit.

Stankovich is amazing! She is a funny & caring professor. You will need the textbook for her tests, but all of her tests are take-home. There's one essay at the end of the semester but it's based on class-learned skills so it's easy. Attend class so that you don't miss skill practices but either way she makes the class worth attending. I loved her!

Loved this class it was very helpful. If you dont like presenting take this class instead of Speech 1. Prof. Stankovich is so nice and has a really up-beat personality, its fun watching her lecture. Assignments and tests are easy. Only 1 paper at the end which is not hard. Make sure to show up to your skill practices. Easy A! Take this class!!

Stankovich is an easy A, all you have to do is show up and take notes. She is very passionate about what she lectures on, and she really cares about her students. All exams are take-home and open-note. Be sure to show up for the group assignment days (I forgot what they were called) or else you will miss out on easy points.

Professor Stankovich is the best Communications professor! She wants you to succeed in her class and will help you in any way possible. She is very accessible outside of class and gives a lot of extra credit! I would totally recommend her!

Take her if you can. Tests are take home, but don't forget to do the tests. Out of the 3 take home tests, the lowest grade is dropped. Class is well structured and Prof Stankovich is super nice and approachable. Easy A if you put in a little effort.

There's four speech projects and three take home tests. If you need help, she will be happy to help. You do not have to wait that long to get a response from an email, if you wanted to ask questions. She is very nice and caring. There's some extra credit opportunities. If you do all of the work, you should get an A or B. Take good notes!

Professor Stankovich is the most outgoing and the most down to earth professor I ever had. She really cares about everyone in the class and tells you valuable life lessons worth knowing. She is also very passionate about the subject. This class is graded by 3 things, skill practices, take home tests, and a relationship paper. Easy class.

Take home tests, need I say more? For real, I LOVE Stankovich. She had me in tears almost every class because she is so funny and such a great teacher. She is nice and is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. Also offers great life advice. I promise you won't regret taking her class. She is amazing and super personable.

Professor Stankovich is a great professor who cares about her students! There are 3 take-home exams, 1 paper, and she lectures most days for class, except for a couple days where you do group work. She made the class fun and interesting, I recommend taking Professor Stankovich for Speech 5! She offers extra credit for perfect attendance.

Great teacher! This class was very fun and easy. Three exams (take home with text book) and a paper. You do a few class group projects, though very simple and straightforward. Lectures are funny and interesting, and she also cares about the subject. Very easy to talk to and respected by students. Would recommend for anyone afraid of public speaking
