Comment:
I found it really difficult to stay on track in this class. Econ 211 is a relatively easy class but he makes it hard. his midterms are problem-solving based and the questions are not clear. If you ask him what is important to study for the test he would give you a really vague answer. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM!

One of the worst professors I've ever had. He takes relatively simple topics and makes them unnecessarily hard, read the textbook chapters that is the only way you will know what is going on. Dont ask him a question because he won't give you a straight answer and will probably go off on a tangent and waste everyone's time. Sometimes he's funny tho

Professor was so unorganized and unclear it wasn't even funny. It was so frustrating sitting in class watching him make mistakes on countless graphs, dive into numerous extra topics not on exams, and derive formulas with calculus without telling us he was doing that. The key to his class: the textbook, without it you're pretty much screwed.

AVOID at all costs. He stares out at the window all class and goes off on random stories that are irrelevant to class discussion. He does not provide any information on exams. Please, save yourself your money and time! I had to drop it because this prof was so awful, I couldn't take it anymore.

Larry isn't too bad. You should attend class though, writes out lots of examples and graphs. Quizes and midterms were about 20 multiple choice with a problem or two. Hard to stay awake for the first few classes, so avoid an 8:30 class. Textbook is needed and actually makes econ interesting. Take the textbook to class to follow along.

Comments are pretty accurate. Midterm was simple and final was extremely hard. During class he writes out formulas all class, very few examples given so unless you know what all his formulas mean your in trouble. Really bad for giving help and gives no information for tests

Was all over the place in class. Went off on tangent, midterm was simple, but final is difficult, no guidance and not helpful when you have questions.

Very smart guy, basically teaches from memory. Actual course content is kind of all over the place, never really sure what to study. Tests are relatively easy though. Overall, decent prof if you're an independent student.

Took this last term from him. Tests were insanely easy. That being said the lectures were great. This was the first 1h20min class where I didn't want to jump off a bridge by the end of it. Fun Prof, and the learning environment was very chill. A nice change of pace, I definitely recommend him.

I have to admit the class is daunting, the course work is very challenging, but he is very personable and willing to help one-on-one with students. After have a few conversations with St. Louis, I think I will do better in economics in the future, too.

Very unorganized teacher, seems to do what he will, and expect you to know what he is doing. For the midterm, 80%+ of the class had no idea what would be on the exam, and his answer was "Anything we've done in class" or you've read in the textbook. Upon reading what parts of the textbook, said "You are the one who should be reading it..." Avoid.

It was fun to see his style. His exams are easy. No surprises at all. He is not an organized prof but it was very much fun to see his style. Very helpful if you need his help.Overall it was fun experience! Take his class if you need to relax a little...

There is a general lack of structure to the course with little outline in the syllabus. Prof goes off on tangents ranging from his youth to math equations that will never appear on a test followed by a pensive gaze out the window, which can be mildly entertaining at times. Test questions can be simple or hard due to a lack of clarity beforehand.

He likes throwing lots of math equations and doing complicated calculations in class. Beware of his test questions, typos are not uncommon. But the tests were easy once you know the material.

He wasn't the greatest lecturer in the world, but nhot the worst either. He was a fair marker, even though the material was pretty difficult. He was an odd character who went off on tangents and kept saying "Can you dig it".
