You have to teach the course to yourself. He doesnt give strong lectures, makes many mistakes during equations and has to start over, honestly makes the material seem harder than it is. FOR SURE get the textbook and learn the material yourself and youll do great. Its not hard math but you do have to put the work in

Comment:

Dr Braverman taught me Elementary Linear Algebra, and I just finished my first year. Great class, easy material. I got a 98 on the midterm, 98 on the final. Do the homework. He always let me review my quizzes and tests during his office hours. Funny sometimes. "I am smarter than a pocket calculator but not as swift."

Dr. Braverman is obviously incredibly good at what he does- physics. However he doesn't channel it when he teaches. Most things end up being more confusing than they should be. I've stopped attending his classes (except quizzes/tests) and I find that I'm doing fine. And now the good: he has a great sense of humour and a very memorable personality.

I would not have survived Intro to Calc without Braverman's funny jokes and weird analogies. The man is a genius. He often let us out early especially before the weekend, which was nice.

While Dr. Braverman seems a bit confusing at first, especially with the accent, he easily one of my favourite professors. As long as you show an interest in learning he will reward you for it. ALSO! The man is HILARIOUS. There was not a day in class that I didn't burst out laughing.
