She's too blunt, and she does NOT convey the content easily. It's extremely frustrating. Her lectures and slides are barely helpful, but also outdated & confusing. **Do not take her! DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO TAKE ANOTHER CLASS. Homework can take hours and hours a day, no joke. I got an A but it was *THE* worst exp of my life. And I'm old, lol.

I learned a lot from her class. Also the difference between high school students and college students is that college students need self-discipline. So if you want to get good grades, the most basic thing is to go to class every day. Dont complain that your grades are not good or that its too difficult. Its because you dont study hard.

Prof. Lum is very kind, and is easily accessible outside of the classroom. However, almost everything in the class and textbook never appeared on tests. Later in the quarter, classes seemed optional, since the textbook was online. All we really did was watch pointless videos about things that we didn't need to know for the course.

She gives her students so much help outside of class. She was incredibly helpful when our consulting group really needed it.

The class grew frustrated often as we were unable to sense a focused curriculum. We only learned about some websites that display countries' stats and about a few companies, but not much else on global business. Most also never knew what she was asking for through all the lecture which had a lot of unrelated content. Not a very good teacher IMO.

She often gave us good feedback, but sometimes it made us confuse because the idea was completely different from our idea. anyway, she is usually really helpful advice and supportive for us.

You expect many group discuttions in her class. She gives relatively lots of home work, especially reading. She doesn't have final exam but I had writing every Friday and exam once in a while. She gives high score easily. She offers extra credit as well. Also, she gives you information about business events. It would be helpful for you.

Leslie is an amazing instructor! Her class is very challenging but it motivates you to work hard. Always come to class prepared or else you will not understand what she is talking about in class. BE DILIGENT on the projects, its a huge workload, she will take off points if you are not detailed. All in all, this class requires time and hard work!

Leslie was an amazing instructor! I really enjoyed how she would present the material, then dedicate periods of time during class to practice the material. She would provide great feedback on individual and group assignments. I would definitely take a class with her as the instructor again.

Not a good instructor. In my business statistics class, during a test whenever i asked a question she always said "i cant help you". Yet, when her so called "favorite students", the one that always pull the projector screen, the one that always come to her office hours. I clearly heard that she helped them. This is unfair for a lot of students.

Ok, Leslie is probably the nicest professor ive had at BC so far. She clearly cares a lot about her students and if you show even slight effort in class you will receive good grades. But if you are genuinely interested in learning the material you may want to consider a diff professor. she gets off topic a lot and instructions are unclear.

International Business - She spends more time talking about "self" than anything related to International Business. She gets confused when explaining her own assignments and is constantly changing dates without telling her students. Her rubrics for assignments are VERY unclear. You have to beg for her to elaborate. Very nice though.

In the "Multicultural & Business Consulting" course, each person was expected to take ownership of their class project. Not only did we connect with real world local business clients but also made a difference by serving as student consultants. The class was a challenge, but the whole experiences and the doors it may open more than outweighs it.

Leslie is a very supportive teacher and she gave us a lot of review sessions before the exam. You have a lot of opportunities to raise your grade with extra homework. She is very cheerful and positive. I would highly recommend her for courses related to the business area. I took accounting 201 with her and Multicultural Business Consultancy.

You will use the project management skills you gain in this class over and over again for years to come. The class is not a walk in the park and the challenges you go through as a group will push you. For people transferring, it is a great class to get you ready for the the increased workload. In the end, it will make you that much better.

Great teacher! This course itself is one of the harder ones I've taken at BC, but it was worth the effort. I'm using the research, presentation, and communications skills I developed here in all my classes at UW. If you have space, and are actually willing to put in the time, this is a good class to take. Looks good on your resume too!

This class was a love/hate relationship, but with Leslie's guidance and help & your determination to do great in this class you will succeed. This is not an easy class, consumes a lot of your time. Leslie has a genuine interest in your success, but you have to want it more than she does. I advise no more than 10 credits when taking this class.
