Lewis is the best teacher I found during my Masters and Doctoradte in the US. Brazil is a more creative music environment because I follow (and so my students) my model here.

this is a good man to have on your side--he knows everyone in the con and maybe the world and he won't hesitate to help out any student of his. even aside from that, his comments about composition are insightful to the level of eerie. plus he's funny. A++

deeply artistic, so i (who am not) had quite a bit of trouble understanding him. but he had no reservations about helping me understand and accomplish something in music. definitely learned a lot, though a lot of the classes made almost no sense to me.
