My freshman year in '03 he invited our entire seminar class to his lovely home for dinner; it was decorated to the nines for Christmas, a wreath in every window. Great memory, fascinating guy.

Although Dr. DiCenzo knows a great deal about his subject and had some interesting choice of readings, he is a boring lecturer. I couldn't stay awake in class & his teaching style ensured that I learned nothing in the class. People like him because he is easy. He is highly biased in his grading against students who disagree with him politically.

Great prof. Very funny...doesnt pause for laughter just tells his little jokes and moves on. He knows Japan inside and out...not just historical facts, but everything surrounding them...the people, the art, the movements. Great, but leaving...
