There is absolutely no lecture. She assigns you to read the book chapters and do the homework which is reflective of the book. However her worksheets do not reflect the book or homework. Her formulas are different. She actually has typo errors in her worksheet answers. Yes she does surprise you with items on the tests that are not in WS or reviews.

Online homework was easy buy tests were impossible - there were always tricks and opposite of the review sheet. She's very helpful and respond quickly and gives review sheets - but tests are very tough.

Differential Equations is a tough class, but Mrs. Collie comes prepared. If you bring a strong Cal II foundation, Mrs. Collie will provide you with clear examples and an ample amount of practice problems! She is kind of known as the Queen of Worksheets. Tests are difficult, but if you do the HW, you will be ready come test day.

I took Ms. Collie's college algebra class which I was repeating after having taken it at another school where I earned an A in the class. I did not pass Ms. Collie's class, she worked very fast through the lectures and I felt overwhelmed. The tests were tough! I repeated the class with another teacher the next term and got an A again.

There's nothing like taking a math class that is actually an English course. This specific instructor likes to assign reading assignments and homework. No instruction whatsoever. One might think that "Since this is an online course what else do you expect"? My last online math course had self-made videos by the instructor actually teaching.

I am not very good in Math but I really enjoyed this class. She made sure that you understood and gave lots of examples to get a better understanding. If you do what she tells you and how she tells you. You will do great in her class.

Math is one of my strongest subjects, I BARELY pulled a C in her class (I hate algebra). She is a great teacher though. She breaks everything down into understandable pieces. I would recommend her to everyone.

I have to say, I am not good in math AT ALL. She is very easy. Very clear on what she is teaching and shows you the simple way in the calculator. She isn't very cheerful, but helpful. I'm not sure how people failed this class... probably not going.

Very disappointed with this teacher! The material was not particularly difficult, but her general attitude made sitting through her class miserable. She was snippy and impatient with many students who asked questions, and she can be pretty negative. Look for a teacher with a little less attitude!

She's a great teacher. But, you HAVE to come to class. She moves rather quickly through the material, and you have to be there to get it. She doesn't put anything at all online. Her review sheets for test (and the final) are almost exact! Just study the review sheets and keep up with the homework and you'll make an easy A

First of all, if you have to take MAT123, take it with Ms. Collie. She is very nice and helpful. She tends to use her own worksheets so I never had to open my book. This class is rididculously easy. I can't believe that this is a clollege level class.

Great teacher. Study guides tend to have mistakes (wrong question #, etc.). If you go to class everyday and do the homework, this is an easy A. Attendance is a must as the book for this class makes the material much more complicated than it has to be.
