I am a few weeks into her Anatomy course and I absolutely disagree with the reviews below. She is super helpful and easy to approach. She does her part, you do your part; study and write down everything she says in lecture. Ask questions, ask for clarity. Go to open labs. This course takes works, it is detailed. Gotta work for it.

I don't know what everyone is freaking out about. I think Dr Alberti is great. All you have to do is show up every day, actually pay attention and be self-motivated and study really hard to do well. Plus, she's hilarious, makes random funny comments and knows an insane amount about what she's teaching. Challenging class, dont take if u aren't ready

terrible!! Tests are ridiculous! Its the worst class you could ever take. You could recite the book word for word and you still wouldn't receive full credit for your answer!

I dont know why so many people dont like her. I had her for Histo and she was very very straight forward in her lectures. If you are great at memorizing then this is the class for you ! Her test are really straight forward and not hard. But make sure your write everything shes says in class on the test.Very interesting class!

The entire class was lecture and the material was interesting but Dr. Alberti was not a good teacher. She spoke fast, soft, and coughed A LOT. She hardly wrote any notes on the overhead. When students tried to ask questions, she seemed annoyed. I did well in class but had to study for hours. Three midterms and one final based all on notes.

The most unprofessional professor I've ever had. Dr. Alberti knows what she's talking about, but she is NOT a good professor, at all. Avoid her, at all costs. Not helpful, bothers her when you ask questions, and barely writes random notes on overhead. Tests are not hard, but she grades them hard and if you don't have what SHE wants, you're done.

Tests are based off her notes, the text is only helpful to clarify some concepts you may not understand. There were only midterms and final however she did offer an extra credit paper at the end. The class is not impossible simply not taught well, expect to teach yourself.

Her class is a joke.on the first day she told the class that she expected >50% to fail.her tests are all short answer and specifics are necessary.Biology is one of my strongest subjects and i was failing her class..she talks fast and really soft so it is hard to hear plus her coughing doesnt help.she gets mad when people stop her to ask a question.

in order to be successful in this class you have to take good notes and attend every class (or at least get good notes from someone). her tests are based on notes, but read up on anything your not clear on because she's particular about her grading. i usually got the highest grade the tests, but i thought they were easy (but i studied for hours)

This woman is out of control. 8 of 25 kids in my freshman bio class failed, no joke. she speaks really softly and lisps so you cannot hear, much less understand her. i have always been an A student and i failed this class. she gives lots of pop quizzes and scheduled a major test the monday morning (7:45 AM!!) after Halloween night. just dont.

Her lectures will seem simple enough (that is, if you are able to hear her and/or see the overhead), but the tests are killer: All essay/short answer and she is a very difficult grader--wants word-for-word as she explained it. A TON of detailed info to memorize. Oh, and your 3rd exam and final(=50% of grade)are on the same day. NOT COOL!!!

Oh man, i'm sitting here studying for my final and realized that it was my duty to warn anyone even THINKING about taking this professor to instead just hit yourself in the head. This is an incredibly hard class, and practically impossible to do well in. It seems like 3 semesters of material crammed into 1.

The person below me is right. Class is based on 4 tests. No other homework. It's up to you to keep up with the reading & studying. If you take this class, DON'T MISS ONE LECTURE! &if you do, get the notes from somebody. All the tests are based on the notes. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE EXAMPLES SHE GIVES! I should have dropped this class :(
