I took Elementary Stats with Professor Topolovec. She is so insanely kind. She really wants you to do well in her course. She is always easily accessible and will make time to help you with homework, her project, or in-class assignments. She's a very fair grader. Also, there is an optional final exam for her course! A pleasant surprise.

Comment:
Shes a fair professor to all students. When it comes to lectures, she may tend to go fast but she is always assessable during office hours. Any of her test do not have a surprises, so her test are fair game.

One of the best math teachers I've ever had, and unlike most math teachers has a genuine sense of humor to boot! Definetly not a 'sleeper' course- you're learning material every day and need to take notes!! Super thorough and wants to see every student succeed through learning the material. Accessible with office hours and responds to emails.

Professor Topolovec clearly has very obvious opinion on students' diversity. She "tries" her "best" to treat every student fairly regardless of their background. I will recommend you to take this course if you want to feel the same emotion as Rosa Park did when she was on the bus in Montgomery , Alabama. --It is not joke, it is serious and real.

She is one of the best math teachers I've had, hands down. Very helpful, and always makes time to help you when you need it. She can teach literally ANY math and I will understand it. Great teacher, period.

This class was very hard with her, she couldn't explain what she was teaching, and spent more time in class going over work than she did actually teaching. It was almost like having an independent study. I had to get an outside tutor to pass the class. Nice lady, but disconnected and unorganized. I wouldn't recommend her if you have a hard time with math to begin with.

Typical person who got her degree in education--she does not know math at all. Would even fail as a HS teacher. Maybe she should take some math classes, not education class. If you want to learn math avoid this person.
