She is awesome! The course was a lot of work, and you really need to have motivation to do well in it, but the work is interesting. The classes were super fun, and Lisa seemed to always be eager to help.

Overall, I had a very good experience with Prof. Wilson. She is enthusiastic about what she teaches and excels in encouraging students to talk. Also, she is kind, approachable, and always open to one's opinion. Be aware of the amount of reading you will do for her course (we read 6 books and some primary sources). Make sure you can handle it.

I love her. She's so nice and welcomes questions. I'm taking another class with her next semester and I'm so excited for it. She's so interested in her subject and she's really fun to learn from. If you're looking for a history class to take, go for the ones she teaches.

I took three classes with her, not because I was interested in the topic, but because I loved her teaching style. She's super friendly and incredibly helpful. She's always available to talk about assignments and anything else you might be thinking about. One of the best professors I ever had

Why is difficulty level a way of rating these professors? Is easy supposed to be better? Weird. Well, she requires a lot of work of her students and has high expectations, but I see that as a good thing. You'll learn a lot. Be prepared for a lot of reading

Very enthusiastic about the subject, which is a rarity at Conn. She makes you interested in colonial history which is tough. She is a hottie, and very nice.

Comment:

Wilson has some of the most unorthodox teaching methods I have ever experienced. For instance, there is no textbook in the class,so stay awake to take good notes. I do not recommend Wilson.
