Comment:

Worst EVER. Takes off at least 10 points if you write in pencil. This one lab she told me I can write in pencil since there were lots of calculations. She still took off points for it, her fault. She's mean. If you forget a negative sign that's 3 points off. Mess up a decimal place that's 5 points. You'd end up with 60% if not lower.. DO NOT TAKE!

No matter what you do you're going to fail, took her for 1300 barely passed with a C.. took her for 1310 she messed us up real bad. Tests are impossible. if you study 5 hours a day for 7 days a week then you might pass with a C! No matter what DO NOT TAKE HER. we started out with 40 students, 25 dropped out, 15 left, only 5 passing the class!!!

took her class twice!1st time I admit not studying at all ended up failing. 2nd time I swear to god I studied my butt off to just get a C a 70% that's all I wanted since A is impossible! I requested incomplete for math class because I put my whole time studying for her! Ended up with a 69% bottom line she didn't want me to pass didn't round up.....

she is awesome. I don't care what anyone says. She has office hours and I would be in her office every time I had a question. very helpful. she gives extra credit on quizzes and tests too. her grading is fair. she prepares you for higher levels. students of chemistry major, if you want to learn proper chemistry she is the best.

Hands down the BEST prof I've ever had. Material is not easy, but she knows her stuff! I am a VERY needy student and spent a lot of time at her office for help. I never once felt like I was an inconvenience, which is important to me! She truly cares I highly recommend her if you actually want to learn. (which is what school is for!)

She is a very hard teacher who doesn't seem to care about her students. Polcar refuses to handle questions during class and is mediocre at best when she takes questions during her office hours. Overall she knows her stuff, but doesn't seem like she cares at all about teaching you any of it

smart woman, poor teacher. Homework tends to be much harder than examples she goes over in class. Can't always find explanations in the text, as she doesn't use it. Goes through material very quickly, but not thoroughly, be prepared to teach yourself. entire semester was frustrating.

Hard core chemistry class. Professor Polcar is very intelligent and knows chemistry like no other, but her exams were rough! You really have to work hard to get a decent grade.
