Communicating with this professor was so difficult it was nearly comical. Online MGMT 3352 was easy but level of communication via Blackboardemail was non existent to none. IF I did receive a response an email from him it took an hour to decode. Easy coursework though.

He is pretty old but he has a good sense of humor. Lectures are long and boring. Most people skip, but if you go to class he'll give extra credit. He gives quizzes on BB so if you don't go to class, be sure to check. Always study the book for a quiz or exam! Really laid back and will help you with anything that you need!

Not a hard class if you do the work. As an online student for the past 4 years, this is the typical online class. Do assignments, DB's, read, write essays/papers, take exam (which is basically all information you will get from reading textbook) Not hard to do but not easy also.

Was excited for the class before it started but this guy is the WORST ONLINE PROFESSOR-EVER. You wait all semester for assignment grades, even DB posts! How hard can it be to grade DB's in a timely manner? He can't/won't communicate worth a darn, useless chats are mandatory, & group project is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor & find something else!

HORRIBLE. His correspondence is full of typos & difficult to understand. He does not respond to emails you send him-how can ECU consider this acceptable?? Mandatory chats a complete waste of time-no one has ques so we sit in silence listening to him mumble. Class is easy, but its a waste of time & money & has no place in the business program.

Worst Online Teacher at ECU. You have 10 minutes to take a 20 question quiz. Same with test, barely enough time to read the questions. The final is proctored. Takes forever to grade. I did not know my final grade until it was posted on OneStop. Don't take online!!!

This class is very straightforward and fairly easy. The tests are multiple choice- 50 questions in 50 minutes. I didn't see any trick questions on the test, and he tells you what will be on the test four days in advance (no need for a study guide). You should make an easy "A" in this class. Also, he has a slapstick humor personality.

Took class on-line. He was helpful at first, but as semester continued his e-mails became more and more confusing, some even to the point of making no sense at all. Tests are hard and gives no feedback on the questions. Stated that DB participation was 10% of our grade but NEVER posted any DB questions/threads--even after being asked about it.

DO NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE THIS TEACHER. He's horrible. Taking him online, you only get 50 minutes for 55 questions on the tests and there are several trick questions and then he doesn't give credit for them. Can't type an e-mail, won't fix wrong grades, can't even spell the word "have". Chats consist of sports talk. Horrible teacher!!!!!

I had him for online mgmt. Mr. Smith would send out emails that were spelled incorrectly and made no sense. I finally earned a B in the class after he mistook my 83 for a 38 on my final. It took 3 months to get fixed. Avoid taking this class with him if you can...there are better professors.

Taking this class online. It's no big deal really. No discussion board, only five modules, tests are easy, and he's pretty lenient on the essays. He might take a while to grade stuff, but who cares? I don't like the fact that we have to take the final on campus (its an ONLINE class).

In my honest opinion, this guy is lazy, unorganized, bi-polar, and rambles alot about nothing you can understand. Takes forever to grade tests, doesn't even bother to look at other assignments. This class was a joke and a waste of time and money. I learned absolutely nothing in this class but passed with a "B"...go figure.

I took the class online. Not hard at all!! Don’t procrastinate and double check your tests and quizzes for wrong answers (he was bad for that). He is a little slow on getting back with answers and most of the time doesn’t even answer the question you asked. Keep up with your own grades too, they mysteriously disappear and reappear sometimes online.
