He does somewhat have a monotone but it goes well with his dry humor; he was successful in getting us to laugh every now and then. He looked a lot for pronunciation and spelling and came down hard on that, but that's pretty much what there is to learning a new language. Really enjoyed this class; I learned a lot.

The most useless, frustrating experience I have ever had. I hate this professor. I learned nothing and got turned off one of my favorite subjects. He speaks in a monotone and assigns 20 pages of homework for one night, then none the rset of the time. Useless and stupid. By the end, I didn't care what happened I just wanted to get out of there.

VERY VERY EASY!! but will teach you nothing!! smile a lot, and read the book, and you will get an ok grade. i never studied and got an A. but i do reccomend a tutor if you are going to the next level class!!

This is such a dry class.The teaching is very unexciting. He seems like he hates his job. By the 6th week over half my class dropped or just stopped coming. He basically expects you to teach yourself. Some people my like that but for what I pay for school I expected to get my moneys worth from the teachers.

I laughed a lot in this class. As indicated he has a really dry sense of humor, and I like him a lot. I had Chavez for a month once before and though he may be stern, Chavez does tons more to teach the material to you.

He's a cool teacher. Dont be afraid of him at first he's scary but after a while he gets better. Really funny, in a sarcastic way! Just be careful that you dont miss very many classes because he won't help you if you werent there.

He is not a jerk. He is just a bit sarcastic. He is an awesome teacher. He makes it all about the learning experience, and not about killing your GPA. He is fair, amusing, makes class fun, and yes he is pretty hot for an older guy. Oh, and no matter what you do, turn your phones OFF and DON'T chew gum en la clase de Epanol!

He comes off as a bit of a jerk at first till you get to know him. He's strict about pronunciation and sometimes puts you on the spot. Just show up to class, do the work, and make an effort and you'll do fine. He lets you retake tests before finals week! You always work with a partner and he's pretty funny too.

He is a great teacher! Nice, friendly, and helpful. He is very classy too. He jokes with you in class, totally puts you on the spot but doesn't harp on you for being wrong or stumbling. OH and NEVER chew gum in class, he hates it!...Also, did y'all know he is a professional singer!?!? He is very very good.

Senor Accornero is SO HOT!!!! To bad he is married...lol.He is SUPER helpful.I never took spanish in High School and I got an A on the 1st test! Tests on every chapter. Workbook/lab he gives you the answers.
