I enjoy the fact that he gives you a copy of his notes that you fill in while he lectures. I noticed that nobody wanted to ask him questions even though he asked every day if anyone had any questions. Why not? Tests are multiple choice so the work isn't graded. He doesn't differentiate between wrong or right examples so that part was confusing.

I hated this class. He goes at a pace thats not too fast or slow, but he doesnt go back, If your confused seek help ASAP. Or you'll be lost when you move foward in lectures. Really Boring. Gives a lot of homework, that counts to your grade so do it or it'll count against you. Pick another teacher if your lazy.

Glucksman is a cool teacher. He gives you notes that mirror his lecture during class. Do the homework because it does help your grade. Final was completely multiple choice and super easy. Easy A, just show up to class.

Easy teacher when it comes to learning the material. explains it all well even though it's review. when it comes to grading though he is a lot harder than expected. if the work isn't where it should be in his eyes even if you're trying your butt off he'll mark you low. take his class if you're going to faithfully do all the work.

He is a pretty laid back teacher.He gives you notes to fill out during class. Make sure you do the homework it really helps your grade. Some questions on test are multiple choice. Our final was completely multiple choice which was easy.

Comment:

Dr. Gluckman is easily one of my favorite teachers in El Camino. His way of teaching consists of filling in handouts he personally made. He does give A LOT of homework and you best do it if you want practice and points. If you have a high grade in his class, he wont care if you show up at all lol You have five tests, but the hw is harder than them.

Glucksman is an awesome teacher. He really tries to be helpful and you can tell he want the best for his students.Also he never says anything if you come in late. He gives daily quizzes, which are helpful way to practice the math if your like me and dont do the homework. He gives one midterm and 1 final. I wish I could take him agan for math 161 :)

Very nice guy.. Deathly boring though.... Really. He likes to give small talk, when instead he should be focusing on explaining math. Very "dry" lectures and likes to single out students who occasionally try to work with different methods. Easy class..just really boring.

He is a good Math teacher. Gives homework but does not collect it. His quizzes are simple but you need to do the homework to understand them. His midterm is hard and final is hard as well. Attendance is not mandatory but there is a quiz every day. Very helpful and not hard to understand

I hate the way he teaches!...he gives a lot of homework and you have to show all work or he will not give you credit...his technique sucks and makes the easiest problem so confusing and he moves super fast. If your horrible in math like me dont take his class.

Good teacher, not to hard. I only think this class isn't too bad because I took calculus in high school. He gives quizzes everyday but no tests at all and homework is not collected. and a midterm and final. Quizzes are simple

at first i REALLY didnt like thi guy. Throughout the semester he grew on me as a person. He is cute and adorable. however, he does teach fast and sometimes makes you feel stupid for asking questions. not recommened.

Really nice teacher ( adorable and funny) but he if you struggle with the math he moves extremely quickly and there is no extra credit.I have never worked so hard in my life to keep up with a class. You have to have outside help if you need it because it is not provided in class.

Dr. Glucksman is an excellent teacher, he's very patient with the students who struggle. I'm a quick learner so if he did go through lecture fast I didn't notice. He explains everything clearly and assigns lots of homework- but its good practice.

Math 40-He's an adorable little old man, but he's also tough. He does not give extra credit and tons of homework, the tests are ok but the lectures don't really help. The only way to pass is by going to SI sessions, attendance is not mandatory but recommended! He's nice but dont take him if math is not your stong point...
