Extremely helpful and she encourages students to use her office hours if you need any help with ANYTHING. She has an accent but has no problem repeating what she just said in clearer english. nothing to stress about. She really does want students to succeed. She does lots of in class participation, and teaches in a "hands on" way.

Excellent class. I loved my class mates and the whole experience was wonderful. This professor is so nice and understanding. She travels all over the world and is friendly and intelligent. Take her, you will learn to speak, most of all.

I loved her authentic accent and her knowledge of Hispanic Culture. Best class in Spanish so far. She seemed like a true college prof, with nothing but valuable stuff to offer to her students. I loved my class and loved my classmates. Better class than some at UCSD.

I loved my class. It was structured, organized and very interesting. Doctor Bolivar is a real college instructor. I learned so much I want to change my major to Spanish. This professor is a great person. Highly recommend her.

Great Teacher. She is caring and fun. I loved her style and made us feel intelligent, for a change. She is a very intelligent and well prepared professor with lots of fun activities always planned. I had another instructor at first but dropped that class and managed to get a good instructor like Doctora Bolivar who speaks Spanish all the time.

Bueno y bonita maestra. Gusto mucho mi clase de espanol y divertito. Take with her. Strict and a little hard but very nice and understanding. Our class was a lot of fun. She is la profesora bonita.

She is not a great teacher. Is very scatterbrained and loses her concentration constantly. She doesn't take responsibility for her mistakes which erks the heck outta me when professors do that. I would recommend trying another professor first before her. And side note: attendance is VERY strict. I'm not sure who got away with never being there

Who is this person who got an A and did not attend. And did not follow the syllabus either. I think you need to check the actual name of your teacher since my teacher covered all the material we needed to learn. Perhaps you struggled with the material you missed. And you need the structure you say the class lacked. This class has approval with A+

She is very nice, and easy going. Does not care about attendance. I got an A and only was there 1/4 of the time. I think the class lacked structure, too much time spend on some units, while too little time spent on areas the whole class struggled with. I am done spanish but if I had to take another class, I am indifferent as to whether I'd take her

My best class. Doctor Bolivar is fair, unique in her style and very understanding. Every class was fun and interesting. I rushed from work to class just to have fun with my class mates. We all loved our class and would take Spanish 3 with her if only she offered it.

This professor is my favorite. She would be perfect were it not for those students who think know it all and bother every one in class. Every one likes our professor and we have a great class. We love our classmates and though our class has more than thirty students we study together and have become good friends. Great job doctor Bolivar.

Great! I am learning Spanish so I can use it with my co workers. I love her class, she is so calm and patient! Everyone in my class loves her. You can email her and she responds right away. She is friendly and accomodating. She is a great professor. She teaches in such a way class goes by so quickly. I love my class.

To the previous person, maybe you need to check what class you took, I took Spanish 102 and loved my class. All of my classmates were always hanging out together and this was our favorite class. What? I took Spanish 101. My class was packed till the end and we loved the class. We laughed and learned to speak Spanish. As for the book, we did use it and boy was I happy since I paid 150 for it. This is a great teacher and super helpful. We all talked about how helpful and sweet she was
