TAKE THIS CLASS! baker is a great, funny guy and keeps examples fun and relative by using what he likes to call "drugs sex and rock and roll." the homework and book are online and helpful. tests arent too difficult if you study a little. the final is optional. does take attendence but will often give you extra credit for showing up. i for a B.

Awesome class! He is a great and super helpful teacher. Make sure you go to class and take notes. Material can be hard if you don't keep up. Final was optional and cumulative. There is some extra credit and he does take attendance. Don't need to buy book because it is online with the online homework program you have to buy.

Mark Baker is great! He's funny and he really wants us to succeed. His exams are somewhat hard but there are a lot of hw and ec to help you out if you need it. This is my favorite class this semester and Im always excited to go. Try not to miss class cause it really really helps! (and thats when he gives out the ec!) DEF WOULD RECOMMEND!

Overall, he's pretty legit college prof. He tells it like it is, and his class is hard but you learn what you need to know! and learn it well! One rule of thumb: GO TO CLASS ALWAYS and ON TIME!!! and if you listen and study a bit you'll do fine. The more you go to class = more EC.

He is a pretty cool teacher. His tests are pretty hard but make sure you do the study guide online and really understand the concepts in the class not just examples. go to lecture, he give alot of e.c. And read the chapters it will really help! states is boring and he tries to make it intresting, take baker. Wasn't that bad.

He's great. Awesome teacher, he takes time to explain things crystal clear. He's pretty funny too. I would take him again without a doubt. The grade system is set up extremely well for students; you can get high B's on tests, go to all classes, and get 100% on homework(which is easy), you'll get an A.

Awesome teacher, takes a murky concept and makes it crystal clear with examples we could relate to. Go to class everyday, do the work and know the notes for the exams. Few actual problems on the tests, more theory/definition

Class is not that hard at all. Just show up and give a little effort. I got B's on almost every test, then did the homework, never missed a class, and got the extra credit and I walked out with an A and didn't even have to take the final.

Mark Baker is an awesome teacher! I have a stats background so the class was extremely easy for me. Without any stats experience the class would be kind of difficult. Homework is worth a lot of your grade and the final is optional. Best part about the class, Mark Baker is gorgeous!! Probably wouldn't have went to class if he wasn't the teacher!

Teaches the material well. Funny guy most of the time. Tests are pretty hard compared to other teachers from what I've heard. Takes attendance and gives homework for every chapter which isn't too difficult. Taking this class isnt that bad

TAKE STATS BEFORE HIM! It'll make the class incredibly easy as he covers nothing more than a stats class. Keeps examples interesting, tests over concepts instead of definitions/examples, easy 5 question homework, sexy TAs, took notes off slides and getting an A. I'd take him again if I needed to.

Probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. I would take no one else for this class. Livens up the class and actually makes it interesting. Offers some extra credit and goes over homework in class. He also takes time for office hours.

He is very straight forward and tells you exactly what is going to be difficult on the test. Baker is hilarious and knows what he's talking about. I was laughing through most classes, which says alot because statistics is a pretty boring topic. He always makes sure everyone understands and helps them if they don't. Take his class.
