Classes were fun to attend, at times informative, awkwardly humorous. Weird lecture style, hard to know what's going down on quizzes, but a joyful little mess of a class. I wouldn't say he was the greatest teaching professor but he is obviously working very consciously towards crafting a particular experience for the students which is appreciated.

Levandoski is very interested in the topics he teaches, but has little skill at explaining what he knows. His homework assignments are often unrelated to class lectures, so homework material must be learned entirely from the book. Dangerously assumes students are already familiar with the material being taught, from AP classes. HARD GRADER!

Really great prof. I didn't like him at first, but his class got better after a week or so. Sometimes I had questions about how he graded things but he always was able to explain how tests were graded. He is really nice and cares about his students and is willing to go out the his way in one-on-one meetings to make sure you understand the concepts.

Professor Levandoski was one of the worst teachers I've ever encountered. He doesn't know his material, doesn't know how to explain it clearly, and has very condescending mannerisms. Wouldn't recommend him AT ALL.

Really bad teacher. Quite possibly the worst teacher I have had in highschool and at Grinnell combined. Doesn't teach in the class, homework assigments unrelated. If you don't either know the subject from AP classes in highschool or can understand the textbook, you are in trouble. Bad grader, marks off for right answers for use of strict sig figs.

Comment:
I learned so little in this class. Class lectures were horrible. Prof. made many mistakes. Problem sets were much too difficult for a 200 level course. The questions didn't correspond to lecture topics and frequently addresses topics we'd never covered. Prof. Levandoski is a really nice guy, but he can't teach to save his life.

This man doesn't know what he's teaching, and he's bad at teaching you anything. His homework sets are NOTORIOUS for being vauge to the point of being incomprehensible. Ask me for the secret decoder rings if you ever have to take a class from him.

Not a interesting profesor. No doubt that he's a smart guy, or that he's trying his best, but for the first and only time that I've been at Grinnell, I felt like I was back in high school.

Well, for starters, he sucks a**. Maybe he is good in biochem (though i doubt it) but he seems either very confused about his subject or, as stupid as it may seems -since he has a pHD :S, he doesn't know much about his subject. He makes allot of mistakes!

As a chemistry teacher, Levandoski is fine, but for tutorial he was a hard grader and gave us much more work than, say, Doug Diamond.
