She made lectures interesting and relatable to our generation by providing real-life examples through her two adolescent daughters. I never got the vibe that she came off arrogant, like other students stated. She just knows her stuff! It is possible to get by the class without purchasing the textbook; exams are over mostly lectures. Fun class!

Average quality professor, with a dash of conceitedness in her demeanor. Has had teaching assistants grade assignments. Extra credit is beneficial sometimes depending on what it is. Not terribly personable, but have had worse.

She is straight forward. No powerpoints, but she does give you an outline. Final test is not cumulative. 4 tests and one paper. I believe we had 18 points of ec. Only used the book for the paper. Do the online multiple choice practice tests! Those are her multiple choice questions.

4 exams, a paper, & lots of opportunities for EC. No powerpoints, but she gives an outline for lecture. The paper is easy if you look at sample papers beforehand, which she recommends. Read the book, go to class for notes, and do the practice quizzes for each chapter online that go w/ the book and you will get an A!

Her class is challenging, but all of the information is so interesting. Read the book and do the online quizzes to prepare for test. Not all of the information on the exam is discussed in class, so reading is critical. The written assignment is graded difficultly, but it is a great research opportunity. I'd take this class again.

I am really enjoying this class so far, minus her telling us the first day to not expect anything higher than a C if we're not psych majors! That was bull because more than half the class isn't a psych major. Regardless, she's a nice lady and willing to help you outside of class. Her tests are difficult but if you study, you'll be fine.

Dr. Reese-Weber had a very challenging class and you better read the book, but nonetheless I had a lot of fun taking it. I usually fly through Psych classes because they are of much interest to me, but her class makes you go that much more indepth into the material. I can only suggest go to the classes, take notes, TAKE THE ONLINE TESTS, and read.

She is one of those professors that think tests ought to be really difficult. She structures them with ambiguous questions meant to make you struggle. I have attended every class, read the book, and taken quizzes online, and still got a C. Plus her extra credit is a joke. One point for a two-page review of a 16-page article?! Don't take her..

You have to read the book to do well in this class. She just started using power points but they are not very helpful. Her tests are pretty much impossible, there are questions from the text that are random sentences its horrible.

She just started using powerpoint in her class, so I think that helped out a lot with the tests. Still.. READ THE BOOK. Even if you skim through it. And do the online practice quizzes. It's not an impossible class to get an A. I highly recommend the extra credit, it helps a lot. She is also a very nice lady if you ask her questions outside of class

DO NOT TAKE HER! Her test are intentionally tricky. She always makes excuses for why she cannot grade papers on time and does not answer emails in a timely fashion. Always has something more important to do than her duties as a professor. Her lectures can be interesting, but nothing she talks about will be on the test. She just wastes your time.

She is a good lecturer, but needs to stick to what's in the book. The tests ARE THE TEXTBOOK. You fail to read, you fail the class. Each chapter is about 50pages and she flies through it. I recommend rebutting on tests-she will give you the points back. Extra credit is a MUST DO, only 4 tests and a paper for points.

Multiple choice is not too hard but is extremely picky on grading the essay portion and your semester paper! Take advantage of reading sample papers.

Not a bad teacher. She is a good lecturer. But the first day of class she tells you not to expect better than a "C" in the class because we arent psychology majors. Not very motivating. I got a B. Rarely read the book, never missed class, took notes, and looked at study guides. Not the hardest class but not the easiest either

She is a really good teacher. Clear about what she's talking about, makes sure you understand everything by giving lots of examples. Tests can be hard, but if you read over your notes and the chapters you'll do fine. I'd recommend her.
