Brilliant and charming professor. My favorite at glendale community college. He made his own textbook free for his students. He's a super cool dude and I think he knows it. Enlightening class and passionately taught. He makes it easy.

Professor Reed is an overall great Professor. His lectures are fun and interesting and I actually looked forward to going to his class. He provides you access to a free online book he wrote himself that covers all the things you'll learn about throughout the semester. READ THE BOOK! You will not pass the class off lectures and power points alone.

You won't regret taking Prof Reed! His lectures are v engaging & he's absolutely hilarious! Make sure you read his book to prepare for the exams (3 in total). Reading each chapter before an upcoming quiz/geography exercise about that specific chapter is key to doing well! If you commit to the class, you will succeed & learn so much! Take him!

He is a great teacher. Even though my major is Business, I really thought about changing it to Geography. Thats how much I loved his lectures!!!

If you want to learn more about geography and life in general, take his class! He really knows his stuff, and he's able to share his travel experiences to help his students understand what the class is talking about more. This is a real college class! I really feel like I'll be ready for University work and beyond.

Fantastic professor who makes Geo 106: Human Impact on the Environment, which is a real world issue very important. His class contains lots of reading with assignments but nothing too bad. A great person, and very caring both about what he teaches and his students as well.

He gets off topic a lot and talks about his personal life. Talks about all the struggles he has went through and kinda expects us to go through the same thing, which is stupid. Lectures are long and boring. He cracks jokes here and there. He was whatever.

He goes off topic way too much- talks about how he went backpacking in one country to surfing gnarly waves in another. We get it. You travel. His lectures are heavy-basically a snooze fest. You have to rely on self-studying or else you won't pass his tests. I lost ten years off of my life span taking this class. Don't be like me. Dude is not funny.

One of the best professors at GCC. Hes the type that cares. I looked forward to going every day, his class is a great experience. I wish I could take him again but unfortunately, georgraphy isnt my major.

This professor is hard and goes off topic a lot and then makes you read the slides on your own at home because there isnt enough time in the class. Lets you use a cheat card on the tests but his study guides are useless and only some questions are on the actual tests.

Prof. Reed is an awesome professor, but his class is difficult. You really have to put in a lot of work and do a lot of outside studying, hw, reading, etc. You cannot merely pass this class simply by attending. His tests are also realllllllly, realllly hard.

Definitely not an easy A, so you NEED be interested in the subject. Luckily, Prof. Reed teaches smoothly, systematically, and most importantly, enthusiastically so its hard not to get excited. Both his mid terms and final are based off his slides on canvas, but read the text for your own benefit and quizzes. Every lecture was an absolute honor.

Professor Reed is an amazing professor. Geography's not my major but he made me wish it was, only so I could take more of his classes. He makes GCC not feel so terrible. I've taken two of his classes, 101 and 102, and he really is a fair grader and his tests are exactly what he lectures on. He also chooses great SI leaders, which are very helpful.

I just ended this semester with him, The semester went by so quick. He made a such great engaging environment in the class I really didn't want this class to end I will miss his lectures a lot. Such an amazing class, Such an amazing professor such an person .Be sure to sit in the front and engage .
