Duffy was great, I took COMP1 with him a few years ago. It was an afternoon class and we always talked worked on homework or watched youtube vides then we'd watch a movie. Attendance did not affect your grade if you did all your work. Defintely would take any of his classes.

The text book for this class is not worth buying - he never uses it in class. He does not like women and does not like people that hate sports. Better say you like sports or he will grade you with c's or d's every time. Writting must make sence to him or he grades it bad. Write what you see on the web or answers for paper and he will grade w/c's

He's okay if you like to write fast and lots of papers also. Every night there is an eassy due 1pargraph or one page paper at times. They are all about what you watched on the movies and or passage that he had read. He has to APPROVE Your research paper topic, and it also has to be a topic that no other student has ever done before in his class.

Great class for English 101. Requires 5 essays for the semester and a research paper at the end. Just do the work and show up to class and you will be fine. Not your typical english teacher, shows a lot of movies to widen your view on many subjects.

Very awesome teacher. Friendly and loves to talk! No firm due dates on any essays to be written. As long as you get them in at some point, you are golden. Well, if they are written correctly that is. Definitely try to take him. You wont regret it!

Most of his popularity is probably a result of the ease of his classes, but he is a great guy. Very frienndly and personable. You will get things done in his class, but when you get them done is up to you- no firm due dates. Take him if you can.

I wish Mr. Duffy taught more courses!!! He's the most inspiring teacher - of any subject - I've ever he taught me in a summer session about writing what i couln't learn all those years in H.S. English :-p
