I graduated in 1975, and I have taken some kind of art classes since, and attended UofH, and The Glassel studio school for years - Marty is still my mentor and my inspiration. He took time to talk you through any non-comprehension, and was a warm, lovely man.

The first class I had with you was 1989-90 fresh year. You came in and started to speak about what art meant to you and I was transfixed by your words. You were truly inspirational to me! Don't know if you'd remember me but I took your oil class when I was pregnant in 93! I turned green and you madly ran around opening windows! Thanks you!

Had him for Drawing I and my mom had him 30 years ago. He's awesome. Very helpful and a really fun guy. Great sense of humor. I took this even though it wasn't required, you should too if you like to draw. One of my favorite classes ever.
