We were placed in groups and had to present for most of the semester. It started off book-heavy then we completely just did away with it. She's a sweetheart. The class requires some effort at first, but it's doable. It doesn't hurt to come in with a background in French history just so you have an idea. Don't skip class. Presentations galore.

She delivers no amazing lectures; she kind of goes through the motions and makes you fall asleep, because she looks sleepy and her own disorganized mind rambles from topic to topic, and you never know what is going on!

For a language prof., she is very slow and distracted. She never knows where the class begins and where it ends. You won't learn a thing, but you can make a good grade! I would prefer to do challenging work and get the same grade.

I do not recommend this prof. because she does not know where the class begins and where it is supposed to end. It is true that she does not speak French like a native speaker, and this is a big minus in an advanced class, because some students who have traveled immediately notice her deficiencies.

She is very kind, but this class was so hard for me. I normally did super well in all my French classes, never feeling lost and always knowing what was going on. This is a history class, taught in French. They brought in a professor from France to teach all of the class, with her help on the sidelines. Be prepared to look up words a lot.

One of the most disorganized courses I've ever had the misfortune of spending money on. Avoid this teacher at all costs you will regret every waking minute of the class if you don't. There is NO positive to be spoke about here... avoid... run for the hills.....

A very nice woman who is educated about subject matter as far as history is concerned. Flighty, disorganized, French could improve, but interesting and open to opposing arguements.
