I actually had Sister Mary Helen for four classes - three Russian classes and an Honors Program 2 semester course. From my extensive experience with her, I can tell you one thing - Sister is one of the most amazing people you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. She's an endless wealth of knowledge.

This woman is a remarkable teacher. She is not only a brilliant language teacher, but she herself is a continuous learner. The depth of her knowlege is a match for only the serious undergraduate student. Academically demanding - but gives more than she requires back.

Sister Mary Helen is an incredible language professor. She's enthusiastic and cheerful all the time and always wants to see her students do well. I've had her for several classes now and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to study French or Russian.

She's very funny and always very cheery. I'm terrible with languages but she's helped me a lot, and she's available often. With her it isn't exact answers that count, but more the effort you put into it. And she sometimes cancels classes!
