Dr. Mars is amazing!!! TAKE THIS CLASS! His lectures are engaging and he is so funny and caring! He offers 1 extra credit assignment and the rest of the class is a semester long campaign project with quizzes along the way. Attendances goes towards your grade, but I wouldn't miss only because his lectures are that great.

Comment:

Dr. Mars is great/hilarious. Genuinely cares about his students; he calls on students to participate in engaging class discussions but is non-condescending. Majority of grade is a communication campaign project composed of 8 individual assignments that aren't too time-consuming. Grading criteria very clear. Also 4 D2L quizzes and attendance points.

Had Dr. Mars for AED and AGTM 422. AED is an easy A gen ed, but AGTM was required for my major. He responds to emails quickly, is not a very tough grader, and gives thorough instructions.

He is a great instructor. He genuinely wants to see the student's that he teaches gradate and move on in their life! Be prepared to speak aloud everyday as he requires lots of participation, but nothing more than what should be used to help him get to know you better as a student.

Matt is a freakin Beast!!! A bit confusing when he delivers content, but he's chill on grades! Defiantly the best at UA... I wish he can teach all of my classes! Would take again!!!

Matt is one of the best professors I have ever had! He really makes class fun and engaging. I found myself looking forward to his lectures and class discussions. He goes out of his way to meet with his students in office hours and help in anyway he can. Take his class if you can!

Excellent professor! I have taken both ENTR406 and ENTR340 with Dr. Mars and he is by far one of the best professors I have had! I would definitely recommend him for any course!

Funny, likable, all around a great guy. That being said, avoid this class at all costs. Mars was the only reason anyone passed; the other teacher, Shamas, may be the worst professor I've ever had and, unfortunately, he was mostly in charge. The class had nothing to do with entrepreneurship and almost everyone in the class hated it. Avoid 410H.

Mr. Mars is an OG. The class was fun, exciting and easy. The class seems to attract fun people too. It was just a blast. I'll hunt him down sometime in the future and take one of his classes just for fun.
