Meral is an AMAZING Professor. She really-actually cares for her students. She explains the Material in a memorable way -- will actually contribute to your future career. Btw, the class is hard overall, but your benefits from it are endless. She provides Amazing feedback and evaluates with care!!!!! OVERALL, EXTREMELY RECOMMEND. HRM-BTM

Comment:

Strict and old school. She's the type of teacher that rather "show and don't tell" which many students do not get it. In real life, no one will spoon feed all the answers, and you, as a student, need to ask questions and think. Projects are time consuming but not that challenging; go to class and ask questions as participation marks count.

Not the funniest nor most interesting teacher out there, but the stuff taught is not really fun as well. She is kind of an authoritarian and old school teacher and has her own point of view on things, but she has a lot of experience in teaching and is ready to discuss things in the class. Assignments were pretty easy, read the book for the final.

Honestly, she is not a good teacher at all! cCan't even use a computer properly. Lectures are BOOOORING, doesn't help with assignments, and should you ever contradict her or express your opinion that isn't in line with what she's saying, god have mercy on your soul... The only reason her class was full, was for the participation points (iclickers)

Great Teacher.. had a blast in her class. i learn A LOT as a system analyst. The project is very big.. probably biggest you've ever done in university but it is very rewarding and SHE IS THERE FOR YOU.

Worst teacher at JMSB. Avoid at all costs! She's very boring,monotone and harsh. Her class takes forever to finish and she gets upset if you leave early. If you ask me, i'd scream : never again

Yes very tedious project.. and totally useless. to become a business analyst?? which requires 5-10 years of experience. indeed with that class we can get a nice job landing right after graduation. too much bs in class too. Btm program is overrated.

Hard Marker for mid/exam. For the project, very very tedious and USELESS and it counts for 60% of final grade? Have to participate (BS*ing) in class for marks. Doesnt teach well UML language properly. However, she is quite nice if you get to know her and she will give good grade for hardwork. JUST DONT BE LATE/SKIP/SLACKOFF. SHE WILL EAT YOU.

Her explanations are the worst! She "teaches" you sth in class and right away she puts i-clicker questions worthing marks for your final grade, so it's very hard to get these marks. Doen't prepare you for the final, gives you extremely hard quizzes weekly. Sometimes rude. Not friendly if you go to ask her questions, specially before or after class.

Horrible Teacher avoid at all cost. She will make u go nuts with that bloody I-clicker. Her teaching methods are odd and I love statistics..She made me drop the course. Later with another professor I got an A. Useless teacher and weird. I repeat Avoid her at any cost or drop or fail and waste ur money!!

I liked the way she taught, especially with clicker. It motivated me to listen more. She will get mad at you if you speak in class, but other than that she is very approachable.
