I was very excited to learn Bassoon because it was an interesting instrument considering I am a non-bassoon player. That all changed when he made me feel bad for not being able to play bassoon properly. He talks a lot and knows that, he repeatedly tells us that he will never change his ways. No point in course evals because he does not read them.

No book. Required to go to one performance. Midterm & final which are open note! Offers unlimited extra credit (going to recitals). I registered late for this class and informed me on everything I missed! SUCH an easy A if you go to class.

BORING! Class is really, really easy...but prepare to fall asleep watching operas and listening to Bach. Nice guy and really easy grader, but a little out there. Go to class b/c it's 10 points. Gives extra credit options. Required to go watch a live opera ($12), but you dont have to buy a book. As far as taking a blow off, this is your class.

Professor Dicker is caught up in his own world but is a very passionate teacher. He is very excited about each topic covered in class. Students need to make sure not to talk in class, do take notes and they'll be fine.

He is a little in his own world and sometimes a little hard to follow but if you go to class and take the quizes (which he gives you the answers in the notes you will take), then you will get an A. Final and midterm are easy but annoying and you dont have to write any papers but you do have to go to one concert. very easy class

I don't know what everyone is talking about. He is NOT grumpy in any way. He loves music and he's very helpful with any problems you have. Go to class, watch his stupid videos, and take easy quizzes. This is an easy A! He loves what he teaches. Everyone who hated him simply hated actually being in a college course!

This class was prly the easiest class i've taken so far. The worst part was waking up and going to an 8 am class, but it was definitely worth the A. Just go to class each day and u get a 10 pt open note quiz everyday that are pretty easy. Easy A.

extremely easy class; easy A; all you do is watch videos of symphony orchestras. the guy is an a** and very mean to people to ask him any questions. he also rocks back and forth and fidgets and it makes me want to scratch my eyes out.

The class itself is very easy. He only offers it at 8:00am though and there is a quiz everyday. You cannot make it up no matter what...literally. He is doushebag and u will hate him. But if u are a morning person it will be the easiest class u will ever take.

SO EASY. Slept in almost every class, it's kind of hard not to when you sit in the balcony and he turns the lights off while listening to music for almost the whole class. Also, very very helpful if you ever have a problem. LOVES to talk to anyone and everyone about music. Great guy, a little cooky, but still cool.
