Online Russian history class. Rather dull, but easy. Other than the book report, there was no real papers. Each week we read a few chapters and "analyzed" them for homework. Nothing fancy. I was hoping for more discussion, which were on the syllabus, but only one actually took place.

Utterly Horrible... Online Class, World Civ I. Worst Professor I have ever had. Basically you buy the text and just read it yourself and do the online stuff provided by the text. he does nothing and responds in no more than two words to any questions you have. He is a disgrace of a professor.

I don't know what everyone is talking about this guy was one of my favorite teachers. I would take him again. Just listen in class and you'll be fine. He has a lot of passion for the subject matter, and he is absent a descent amount. nice guy... interesting class.

This was an online course. Make sure your writing skills are very good, because you'll be doing a TON of writing each week(avg 2-3pgs/wk). Many of the essays will require additional research besides the text. There's also a 3pg book report and 10pg research paper required, but no tests. This class is perfect for history majors-you'll learn a lot!

As long as you have a basic knoledge of history you should be able to pass the class. Absent alot, and tests comprise of simple terms to define. Just get on his good side and your fine.

Lectures are boring but easy to take notes from. About 85% of the time he has students doing "presentations" which are really them teaching for him.. in which you learn absolutely nothing. The tests he gives you terms from different chapters. You choose 3 and write a page about them. Always late, or cancels class for Jewish holidays or no reason.

Class Style: Lectures Has a poor teaching style, will not write a single note on board, very biased. Tests consist of 7 words from the chapters you have read, and you answer 5 and describe the word. Has you break in to groups and teach 20 minutes of class. Was late to class by at least 15 minutes for 90% of the classes was actually on time twice.

Lectures the entire class...that's it. Tests are practically impossiple; chooses ~7 words from 7diff chapters for you to define/write essay, you don't know words in advance. Would not advice to take.
