I can't say enough about Professor Owens. Take him!!! He teaches you so that you can directly apply it to the real world. He doesn't try to trick you on tests or homework. He wants you to learn, he isn't concerned with making himself look like the smartest person in the room. He's even willing to help you with your other classes. Amazing professor!

Comment:

Dr. Owens is one of the nicest professors in the department. He is willing to help you with anything; whether it is the actual class or program in general. However, if I hadn't had a basic accounting knowledge before the class I think it would have been really tough. He teachers from a powerpoint, but also goes straight from the book.

Great Teacher, I knew nothing about accounting entering the class and I left feeling like an accountant. His test are basically the homework problems that are done weekly. If you do them you will get an A. The group project is also easy. Make sure to pick an easy bank where you can find unlimited info. I would take his class again if I could.
