AWESOME prof and class. By far my favourite prof I've experienced at Guelph thus far. His lectures are easy to follow and extremely engaging and he uses lots of examples and demos. He gives you the topics for the midterm and final, both are nothing but fair. This class was the reason I declared nutrition as a minor, thank you Dr. Rogers!

Amazing Professor! Never have I encountered someone so genuinely interested in tackling a new way of teaching for a new generation. Recorded lectures and written notes were so helpful for repetition, interactive learning for kinesthetic learners, and an overall amazing, respectful attitude towards students!

I really like Dr. Prof. Rogers. He talks fast and moves around a lot. he has so much information, he hardly had to look at slides. He will spend lots of time helping answer questions even when english is not my first language. He is patient and nice.

Dr. Rogers worked very hard to make this course engaging and relevant, which I appreciated. He provided filmed lectures, lecture slides, and additional lecture notes for studying; as well as being very open both by email and social media for questions and interactions. His expectations are very clear and it was a pleasure to be in his course.

Dr. Rogers is very passionate about this course. He tires so hard to try and make everything relevant and does a great job. He uses wicked demonstrations to teach us about various aspects of the course. I hope that he is my prof again, I would definitely take a course of his again.

Best class I have ever taken. I love the passion Dr. Rogers has for food and health. He did so many cool things in class like using fresh baked bread to illicit our cephalic responses and make cheese curds to show us oral food processing. He ties everything together so you understand why food is modified the way it is and how it impacts health.

This course blew my mind. So much work clearly put into preparing the lectures and he is so passionate about the material. His perspective between food and health and approach to the course made me think so much more then I would have imagined possible. I hope that I get him again!
