Comment:

Instructor made subject very interesting. She taught in a very precise manner. She was willing to help in any way she could. Tests were hard, but manageable if you study, like any science class. Some say she goes into greater detail than other instructors, but I didn't think it was over the top. Easy to be around. Great class and great instructor.

He's a good prof he knows a lot about BIO. A very smart guy. My problem in the class was that it is boring sometimes. This is a hard class, so be prepared to work hard and study for 15 hrs per week outside class and lad in order to get a good grade.I got an A. For this class you need a lot of time and memorization!

I took Kelly over the Summer for Anatomy. It was definitely hard, but it wasn't Kelly that made it that way. He usually kept my interest and was so easy to confront with questions. He offered out of class study time and it's definitely worth using. Put in the time and effort he asks, and you can also get an A with Kelly. He is by far my favorite!

Comment:

In lab he gives you a labpac and tells you where the models are. Doesn't explain the information to you and expects you know everything all ready. He tells you he wants to trick you on the questions and it seems like he wants everyone to fail his class. Definitely do NOT take this class over summer! Way to much info to learn in 8 weeks.

Kelly is a good teacher, helps when you ask. the anatomy coloring should be bought & used. you should use flash cards. he has a lab pack which spells out exactly what you have to know for the labpracticals. lecture is taking notes, lab is time spent memorizing anatomy. hes not hard, and not easy, the material is what make this class demanding.

This is a hard class regardless the teacher you have. But he does what he can to help and he's a very nice guy. Although I thought that he didn't really explain things fully until you ask. ALOT of studying. But in my opinion he's very fair and basically the typical college professor.

I would say if you already had anatomy once, or you are strictly hands on learner and want no help, this is the class. He means well, but he just throws some info at you and it's all up to you to figure out what you are learnign, and hope you are learning it correct! Not my learning style!

anat.Kelly is a really tough teacher,I had to withdraw from his class.There was a combination of problems, he tells you that its all about time structure, but for me i just could not retain all of the info. He gives you his house phone and cell phone so there is really no reason NOT to contact him, but he answers questions in a round about way. :(

Kelly does a lot for the Biology dept behind the scenes. He comes in Sat and Sunday to open the lab to enable the students to study for exams and makes up practice labs on the internet to study by. He's a little fuzzy on tests and his explanations. OK as an instructor.

Those sho say kelly is a good teacher are full of it. He is very unorganized hard to understand and everytime i ask a question he answers with a question. what the hell. don't take his class horrible.

He is a professor you can completely respect. He really wants for you to succeed, and he will go above and beyond the call of duty to help you. This is an extremely challenging course though, and it moves quickly. Be prepared for HOURS of effort to do well.

study study study... expect to be out on campus for review every weekend if you want to pass. Exams are difficult. He offers makeup exams... Dont miss the regular exam... they are essay only. Better chance of passing if you make the test date instead of make up.

This class was well worth taking, especially with Kelly White. He was always there to help when needed and I never felt intimadated to ask him questions. I really enjoyed this class and if you are planning to take anatomy, take Kelly.

This teacher does expect his students to study. I just think people want the class to be easy, but if you put some work into it then you should be successful. He is a good and fair teacher, and by taking his class you are better prepared for the next class of BIOL 21 Physiology. By taking him Physiology is easier since you are well prepared
