His class isn't bad at all. Show up to class everyday, do your hw and ask for him to go over whatever you don't get. He's kind of scattered but a good teacher. Since I had an A- in his class I got excused from taking the final.

I also want to give a heads up to students who might take him.He can be discouraging, but do not take it personal. Do not expect him to be one of those teacher that will make a difference/change your life.. Just belive in yourself.

I find there's an assumption on his part that none of us know anything. Grading policy is sort of hokey and at his whim - i missed three classes because I was in the hospital and my grade was lowered, even though all the work is done online and not in class. Class is easy, just tedious. It would be better as an online only class rather than hybrid.

I liked Professor Rube and found him a very good teacher, very helpful and actually funny!. He always came to class in a good mood. We had a good class, also, so maybe that helped. I did not see him "favor" any students over others and he always answered questions from all students. I recommend Professor Rube and the Math 55 Hybrid class.

He is terrible. During the test he only helps his favorite students. He doesn't cover one chapter at a time for example he will cover chapter 2.1,3.2,4.1 one week then chapter 2.2,3.3,4.2 the next week. With math you should cover one chapter at a time because the first chapter is the foundation of the next chapter.

Prof Rube doesnt deserve to teach. He will ignore questions, avoid helping students, and directly favorite students. He is incompetent and treats this like a HS class. Does not have proper email etiquette. Reponse to an email for a request was "NO." in all caps. I'm serious. He's used to negligent students therefore he treats everyone as inferiors.

Mr. Rube is a nice teacher. His writing on the board is sloppy so it's difficult to pay attention when he writes things on it. His tests are based on his lectures. Do your best to get 100% on the hw and quizzes. The tests are ok but sometimes he adds more problems than he said he would. He is nice and somewhat helpful.

This teacher is not the best teacher you would want to take during summer. He favors people and doesnt help others. I took his class looking at the ratings over here but turned out way different. Please dont waste your time taking him. He will not help you what so ever, instead just make you feel stupid. Not worth it.

He really isn't too bad of a teacher, he can go off on tantgents and his boardwork is a little sloppy but he tends to grow on you in time. He is very lenient if you particapte and it seems that he really wants to have the students pass. His tests are based off of the notes in class so take good notes.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! All he does is write stuff on the board that isn't even needed for any tests he gives you. He picks favorites and if you're not one of them, you're bound to work harder than the rest.His online homeworks and quizes are so different from the tests he gives you in class. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

Great Teacher, Anyone who complains that he doesn't teach and just insults his students are probably the people who failed the class and are slackers, it's recommended to take math 65, yet not needed. I haven't taken a math class since sophmore year of highschool and this class was a complete joke. Teachers great and funny.

Mr. Rube is great. This class is hybrid so some online and campass work is done. people who've complain about this class are obviously slackers. I hate math and got an A that should tell you something. campass work is review from online homework. keep up with online work and you will pass. FYI online work is cake

rube is a great professor if you UNDERSTAND the material beforehand. GO TO CLASS. i don't really understand his grading, i've heard from 2 students (in my class) that a 60% is a C but i really doubt that. he grades his tests on your method rather than the answer. it's cake, if you study. which i should be doing now, the final is tomorrow.

I don't know what any of the other comments are referring to there is nothing to rate because he doesn't teach. He will begin a topic then stand by the board and talk off subject or find someone to attack and with a goofy smile say, "how did you make it here to math 55" in a matter of fact tone then laugh at you. don't waist $ or time on him!
