Zuckoff is the BEST professor I have ever had at BU. Hands down one of the most inspirational, smartest people I have ever met. If you love journalism, or have any interest in it, he will only solidify your love for it. Fun class, great professor. Loves the dad jokes.

You have tiny quizzes everyday and you get article assignments regularly due at midnight after class, but Zuckoff is just trying to create an environment where you have assignments due on deadline as you would as a real journalist. He has a lot of experience in in the field and is really interesting and helpful in class. Would definitely recommend

Professor Zuckoff is an amazing teacher. He genuinely wants you to be a better writer and is extremely helpful is helping you get there. There's a lot of work, but it's grad school and therefore to be expected. I love this class so much I'm debating taking his feature writing class next semester!

Haters to the left! Mitchell Zuckoff ranks in my top three professors of all time. He's an inspiring writer with a heart of gold and an irresistible funny bone. He will challenge you, but that's why you're in school. He serves as a mentor both inside and outside of the classroom. I am a better journalist for having known him. You will be too.

Zuckoff is absolutely wonderful. My writing is definitely better after taking this class, and I think he is a very reasonable grader. He expects a lot out of assignments, but he gives you a lot of time to do them and even the opportunity for one rewrite. If you care at all about journalism, don't miss the opportunity to take this course with him!

I am shocked to hear anyone say anything negative about Zuckoff. He's a fantastic, devoted, sensitive teacher and writer. The class is a challenge but not overly difficult. I felt great when I got my first A with him, he made me work hard and I'm a better writer for it.

The class is hard but definitely a good one to take if you actually want to be a reporter when you graduate. He has a lot of experience and makes the class interesting. He is not afraid to push students to do their absolute best. Don't worry about the 3 published articles requirement, it's doable

He's a very compassionate and kind person and this comes through pretty early on. The courseload is too heavy, particularly in features, where if we had fewer assignments and more time to complete the bigger ones it would be better. But he's a wonderful writer and you will learn. It competitive ..gr

The man is a megalomaniac. The class became petty and cut-throat. What kind of way is that to run a program?
