REALLY NICE GUY. Class is pretty boring, but I learned a lot. Tests and quizzes are essay, but he grades easy. Lots of books to read, but at least they are cheap!Papers are very easy.

Jordan's class is all about BS. You can wikipedia a required book the night before and pull off an A on a quiz the next morning. Not too tough. Class is boring for sure but even though you sign in every day there actually is no attendance policy. If you go, the test is right off the notes, but I probably went to eight classes and got a B+

He is so nice. If you pay attention in class you will really learn a lot about history and how it is relevant today. The final is a take home, the papers are easy, and you have a choice of when and what papers you write.

I loved him His class was so boring, but so easy. Take good notes of what he lectures in class and youll be fine. He grades pretty easy, you dont need to know dates just the bare facts of what happens. Go to class and actually pay attention and itll be the easiest history class ever.

I agree with most of the comments up already. He can be kind of boring at times, but keep in mind, he is a history professor. He doesn't really have an attendance policy. His tests seem hard, but he grades them really easily. I'm taking him again for 102... he is so nice and really knows his stuff.

i dont see how anyone could not like this guy. hes AS FRIENDLY as possible and tries to help everyone pass...his exams are PARTIALLY essay, but find a history teacher that doesnt do that, and let me know. he is very lienant with due dates and his final is a take home essay. i took him twice and thought he was easy both times and im an idiot(got Bs)

his lectures are sort of boring, but you have to consider the subject matter, and there are NO room for questions or discussion, he actually tries to avoid it, other than that, not an overy difficult class.

Prof. Jordan's lectures were interesting and coherent. The only negative was the lack of time for questions, although he was quite available at the end of class for those questions. He responses to them expressed interest in the subject matter and he seemed happy to answer them. There was a lot of writing required and I found his grading fair.

freakin' boring. He never updates any of his syllabi or notes, so everything that he teaches is incredibly archaic and outdated. Two tests, a few papers, not too hard...harder to bear than anything.

Class is soooo boring. 3 short papers. Then a midterm and final that are take home. I usually get As, I have a 3.9, but he gives me Bs on all my papers. Its basically just ok cause it isnt hard, the rest of its sucks.

BORING. liked history up til now. Easy papers, but unfair grading. I'm a junior and A student, this was my first B. Grades papers based on your previous work-not on the actual paper turned in! harder on girls than guys. Tests would be easy IF he would narrow down material you need to study -but he doesn't. says he doesn't like euro hist=bad teacher

Like everyone else has said, the lectures are extremely boring. He is a nice teacher and is very lenient on his due-dates. Never has two assignments due the same day or even week. Final was a take-home, but it was (2) 3-4 page papers. Took role for about half the semester. Boring but not hard.

Dr. Jordan is a great teacher. He is very knowledgable and cracks a few funny jokes. If you are the kind of person who likes history then you will make an A. I can see why some people would call him boring because it is straight lecture the entire class, but I liked it and I never made below a 96.

Great guy, will help you with paper topics, takes time to explain the irrational, knows his stuff, lectures may be boring but they are excellent and if you would listen, you would learn quite alot. Takes attendance, tests directly from his lectures. Take him before he retires. Great guy.
