She gives lots of HW but never checks it, she only gives in-class writing assignments. she hears everything so you cant say jokes without (What did you say, tell the class bs) she very interesting and talks about a lot of stupid irrelevant stuff. she tends to pick on students so... be a ghost or very boring.

I dont like her style of teaching and she treats us like little kids because if you come in sick u have to wear a mask and when u sneeze u have to do it facing the Board and of your Absent she takes a whole letter grade every time and she is unfair and I will NEVER take her again

Our class had to do five inclass essays total and I never received good feedback on any of them. I met with her once to discuss my grade and she told me to review my previous essay. The topic and format of the essay was not even the same. I didn't learn anything useful in the class.

Prof Wright is fair. Her teaching keep me awake. We read 3-4 graded student papers in class as examples but she never leaves our names on the papers. We never know who wrote them. I learn what mistakes not to make. what i'm doing ok, too. Want a good teacher then take her class. Follow her instructions and you'll do ok. I'm taking her again.

I have nothing against Mrs. Wright personally, and got a B+, but her teaching style is really inefficient, and her grading really strict. She has more homework than other professors too. I noticed more absent students in her class than any other I took, even though she has less allowances for absence than the others. There's good reason for that.

I've taken Professor Wright for two English classes and almost wish that I was going to be at OCCC for longer so that I could take more. She doesn't tolerate lateness or goofing off in class, if you do the reading and participate in class, she'll like you. Exceptional taste when it comes to picking reading materials, loved everything that we read

She is a very upfront teacher. She will give you her honest opinion of your work and give you advice on how to make it better. I enjoyed her lectures, she would get right to the point, say what she needed to, then allow the students to openly discuss the topics.

I love Mrs. Wright. After the 3rd day of class, I quickly realized if you want to pass stay quiet, laugh at her jokes, and follow instructions. This class is easy "IF" you are able to go with the flow. The students who had the most trouble were those whom had a "know it all" personality. I just sat back took notes and did what she said.

Professor Wright's class was one of the best I've ever taken. If you study your notes and keep up on the reading, you'll do fine. I was a little intimidated by her at first but grew to really like her. She is nice and made lectures interesting. The tests require you to read all stories carefully; they focus in on specific details from each story.

To make this simple. Worst professor to ever work, she does not grade fairly, very childish. She changed her syllabus because I corrected her on it. She picks her favorite student and that is it. She is not intelligent whatsoever. She talks down to all of her students and do not respect them. She also just doesn't show for classes

Ms. Write was the best professor I have ever had. Not only is she highly intelligent, and well educated she has an amazing knack or passing it on to you. In this class you will learn even if you're daydreaming. She is brilliant and speaks I believe 7 languages fluently. I was highly impressed with the amount of French I learned. Take her class!

Since I guess my other comment got deleted -_- Pro. Wright is extremely rude especially if you take her for 101. She talked to the entire class like we were complete idiots and got frustrated when explaining things that came simply to her. The worst part is she doesn't even realize how horrible half the statements she makes toward students are.
