You will have 2-3 assignments, a quiz and Dialogue Questions for every chapter guarantee for the 23 chapters of the book. Its very simple if you read and keep up with the class online. Every assignment was due every Monday at 12:00. Every assignment was graded every week and if you had any questions you could reach out and she will email back.

Comment:

Took the online class for GE credit. The quizzes although untimed are very vague and there is no study guides or clue as to what will be on the quizzes. Some of the questions were so random. Stay on top of the HW/DB posts. She does offer a list of alternatives to the 10 page paper. I wrote a poem instead. Passed the class with an A.

I thought this class was going to be easy. I was totally wrong. She never responds to any emails and she assigns a 12 page essay at the end of the year. DO NOT take this class if you can't write very well.

Excellent communication; lesson plan is clear; very interesting class and she made it fun to learn. Quiz questions, at times, can be a little vague but otherwise not too rigorous. Textbook use was moderate; you do need it. Enjoyed the class; good professor.

Nancy is an amazing teacher. She's always willing to help,the class is very interesting,especially if you love fashion. I loved this class so much! I enjoyed all the assigments! If you are lazy to do assignments and never show up of course you will not pass the class.

Nancy is an amazing teacher. She will help any student having trouble & will even erase your test if you got a low score so you can retake it. As long as you attend each class & read your book you are guaranteed an A.

This professor is a very nice lady but there are so many inconsistencies. A lot of test questions are graded as incorrect because the "correct" answers don't match what's stated in the text. The videos are also not accurate to the time period being studied. I expressed my concern to her regarding the test questions and received no response.

I took this class as a filler class and was a little disappointed. I took it online and she rarely responded to any e-mails. The questions for the quizzes were never straight forward so answering them correctly was difficult. Nice lady, poor professor.

I have been in several of Nancy's classes, and I have loved each and every one of them. I think she is by far one of the most caring professors at Palomar. At times, her assignments can be a bit confusing, but she is always willing to help. It is easy to tell that she truly loves what she does and wants her students to succeed.

Took 8 week internet class. Numerous open book tests each week based on chapters. I missed answers because the test questions were so vague and the info in the book didn't match her answers. I tried to question her on this by email she never responded. However, her discussion board, dialogue, resource list and researh paper were graded fairly.

This teacher is really bad. If you are planning a REAL career in fashion don't bother taking any classes from her. She doesn't know what she is talking about. This teacher has no clue what is going on. She is really phony.

It is a lot of work but if you actually try and do the work she will be easy on you. The work needs to be consistent to keep up but if you ask her if you can turn in late work she will let you. The semester project seems like a lot of work but as long as you seems like you have done your research and be creative you will get a good grade.

Nancy is very fair. I had her for FASH 100, FASHION INDUSTRY and she was great. This course is a bit more difficult because it's on-line, but Nancy is willing to help if you ask. So far, I love he class and I'm using an older text book. I couldn't afford the new edition, but I seem to be getting along well with what I have.

don't take the online class... WAY too much work and she is not clear on what she wants you to do... some of the text is really hard to find during the tests... i would recommend probably taking her real class than online, it's probably way easier and less tedious

Nancy is a great teacher! She explains everything thoroughly and sets you up for an easy and interesting class. attendance doesnt really matter as long as you turn in your work. She is very helpful and a very nice person. If you need more time for something she is understanding. EASY "A"

I have taken nancy for other classes and loved her. However the online class was very hard. A lot of reading!!!! And the tests were kinda hard with all the essay questions. The text book isn't much help. The final project saved my grade and the fact that my work being late was still ok.

Comment:

Nancy was an incredibly friendly teacher who tried to make class fun (through slide shows, videos, and interactive work)...she always had plenty of handouts with extra info and really knew her stuff! There were online quizzes each week (directly from the notes/book), and participation pts for showing up. This class is only "hard" for poor students.
