Nancy Levine was an awesome professor, as long as you showed up (ON TIME) and that you paid attention in class. The textbook is important outside of the class and I did actually use it. Her stories were very interesting and she has so much experience with teaching and hospital work with patients. Very happy I took PS101 with her!!

The worst communications skills I've ever encountered. She gave no clear instructions and what she wanted. If you need to email her for help on the course, don't bother because she won't answer ! to top it off she was never available during her office hours. She was so unresponsive and would have a nasty attitude during lectures. PLEASE AVOID HER !

THIS IS THE WORST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE COLLEGE CAREER. You can do all the work plus some and will still receive a failing grade. This professor is highly unfair with her grading system, she only counts the big tests and then the final basically disregarding all the classwork & homework assignments done throughout the year! HORRIBLE

Took this class last semester and honestly it was one of the worst I've ever taken a class with. It's a psychology not a damn English class. You will be graded on " grammar and punctuation". She covers the topics alright. This class will make you feel like you're in another English course. Solid teacher but you will get aggravated with her.

She made the class feel more like a group of friends hanging out and discussing important issues. I didn't feel like I was speaking up to get credit, but to have a meaningful discussion. She creates a welcoming atmosphere and is open to opinions. She has a low tolerance for BS which probably explains the bad reviews from slackers.

absolutely horrible, work load is insane, no direct expectation of what she wants, provides vague feedback and didn't do anything related to her online class for three weeks. Her open response questions are very vague and you can never clearly find them in the readings, and she doesn't like you using the internet as a resource! Stay Away!

Excellent teacher! She gives clear direction and feedback. She responds to emails promptly. She is flexible depending on the situation. I would take a class with her again, and I would recommend her class to other students.

Professor Levine is by far one of my most beloved professors. Many classmates are taking more classes with her because she is so helpful. If you have trouble in her class or in your personal life TELL HER! She is more than happy to give extensions if you are a reasonable student. She is wonderful and I wish she offered more courses!!!

Professor Levine is great! I've taken two classes with her and would highly recommend her! She has lots of hands on experience in the field and shares it with her students which makes lectures interesting. Tests can be tough but if you study hard you will be fine! Definitely get the textbook!

I would never take this professor again. She gives you A TON of work and even if you do all of it and do well or most of it, you still wont get an A in her class. Very difficult to get in touch with.

Really knows her stuff because she's worked in the Psychology field for many many years and continues to do so. Appreciated her attempt to break down the stigma against mental illness. Makes you work for your grade so if you're lazy don't take her, you'll have a horrible time. If you're willing to work though, great class, you'll really enjoy it.

Professor Levine is a great professor, albeit far from warm and fuzzy. You definitely have to put effort into the class to do well. Tests are definitely challenging. Strict phone policy- if it so much as buzzes you get kicked out. Attendance mandatory, and the entire class is lecture. If you love psych, this is the professor for you.

Her class was the worst! she was not involved in our learning and was extremely unhelpful. She has a great amount of knowledge but uses absolutely none of it to help you. She expects a lot and your textbook is needed to pass this class. She made my GPA drop and has changed my mind about school. Horrible teacher. No one like her in our class.

This is by far the worst class I have ever taken. She isn't passionate or knowledgeable about the subject. She is stereotypical and judgmental. She spends the first twenty minutes of every class complaining to the class about how "hard" her life is. I learned nothing and left her class everyday feeling miserable. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

Trust me guys, She's not good teacher for Life Span Psychology. Our final grade is ONLY based on 3 TESTS and the FINAL EXAM. Her exams are very hard + she puts material on the exams that never covered in class. She's not helpful. She will never makes Psychology learn fun. I will never take any COURSE with her again.

If you do bad on the exam, she will not help you succeed further. You have to find a better way on your own to do well on the next test. She test students on the material that was never covered in class. You will never get any review for the exams. She just tell student to read 3 chapters and exam could be anywhere from those 3 long chapters.

Great teacher and excepts a lot. Attending each class is very important because she covers a lot of information each class (and takes attendance)- quick paced class, exams every few weeks. Her exams are challenging, but other assignments help boost your grade.
