Comment:

If you are any sort of science major and you need Chemistry, Nancy is the way to go. Is she hard? Yes. Do you have to do the work? Yes. BUT, if you do the work and put in the effort, everything she made us do has served me incredibly well in my upper level classes. I'm in Bioorganic Chemistry and thanking Nancy repeatedly when learning comes easy

Comment:

The class is tough so be prepared to spend lots of hours of studying and doing homework. Professor Mullins is great and passionate. Take advantage of office hours, she's really helpful in explaining everything in more detail. There are 5 exams total but you can replace the lowest one. Lastly, don't fail the first exam because it's the easiest one

Heavy busy work. She's approachable and available for one-on-one help outside of class. She provides sample exams to help review. She's extremely knowledgeable. However, half of our class was lost through drop-out/withdraw. Class average on first 2 exams were in the 50's and 60's. Be prepared to put in a lot of work, in studying and in labs.

This class was hard, but you really just have to put the work in. The lectures were very thorough, and she was always quick to answer questions both in and outside of class. Just make sure to show up and pay attention and you should be fine!

She doesn"t care about a student's success at all. If you are behind, she scoffs at you and calls you lazy. The material she makes easy to understand as long as you have access to the review slides. she has an unclear homework system that she refuses to fully review after the first day of class. It's very confusing and she just doesn't care.

If you want to know your crap this is who you take. She was the hardest grader I've ever had and had the most intense material but I know my chem. She is always in her office for help. She prepared me for other classes with lab notebooks and vocab. It was not easy. I cried a lot but I'm so glad I took her in the long run! Crazy not to take her.

Dr. Mullins is really the professor for anyone who is serious about their major. Take this class and expect a lot of work. Study hard for exams and ask for help in office hours as well as in class. I recommend her to students who don't mind studying for hours. I will say that she isn't much active in lab. But if you ask her a question she answers.

Great teacher, but really tough. Had to work hard for an A. But doable, tests are only 55% of your grade, supplemented with lots of mini grades based on chapter readings and concepts she talks about in lecture. It's a real college-level expectation. She set the bar for me moving into analytical chem and organic chem. Give this class your all tho

DO NOT TAKE, I dropped this class and transferred to a different university just because of her. I was on a business trip the first week of her class. All excused yet she graded all my work and quizzes 0's and set me up for failure and told me I'm an adult . Makes you learn everything off youtube. She really does not care about you as a person.

DO NOT TAKE HER. Worst experience ever, and I have 60+ credit hours. 3 out of 5 of us are FAILING the class. You have to teach yourself the material / use tutors, or TRY to meet up with her during her office hours. Her instructions are confusing and unclear. She changes grading criteria up to the minute before you turn it in.

JUST DON'T! This teacher is a though grader and not to mention her tests are 75% of your grade! SO much homework. You have RQ, LQ and LR all week. I would say 6+ HW assignments a week. Do not suggest taking this class while you are in other classes!!

She is a truly amazing instructor. Honestly, she knows her stuff and knows how to give it to you so you can process it appropriately. Gives lots of study tips and advice and is very, very accessible for questions. She does have a high standard of work expected, but really will help you along the way to meet her standards. I'd take her for any class
