Comment:

I would never take a class with Nancy Nowlan again. I've never had a prof at Cap who is so un-organized, did not put in any amount of effort or care into this class. The class has 2 group projects and in both group chats every student expressed the same frustration. No lessons were taught (other than the first day of class).

She seems knowledgeable and capable but in my opinion if you dont give students the date of their midterm and finals or an outline for their assignment youre unorganized. She picks favourites. Lectures were a waster of time. She will make sarcastic comments during a students solo presentation that is timed! Take Advil before class!

If you are about to take this class don't take the level of difficulty for granted. The assignments are easy and she marks high, but if you think the Exams will be the same you are mistaken. STUDY LOTS for the exam.

I usually dont like teachers, but I thought Nancy was great and I had her for 3 classes. The material in her classes is easy and the projects were relevant to the course. Tests are fair and not confusing. Nancy is a very nice lady and treats her students with respect. Surprised to see the negative reviews...

This was my first and my last class with Nancy for this term, she is completely difficult to understand, as she seems to be really very boring, half of the time she blabbers words which are obscure to comprehend, moreover, the endless number of group projects which she gives make one go crazy, She is not at all a great professor.

Disappointing course. Every class feels as if it was the first class of the semester. Small and akward activities and that's it. There are so many interesting and important things to talk about in Management, but she just tells you to read the book. Exams are confusing and unclear, where grade's are based on her relative opinion, not on facts.

Nancy means well, but she is the most disorganized prof I've ever had. She's extremely condescending and unclear on her assignments. An outline/criteria was given for our final group project stating our oral presentation would be "10-20" mins, then she cut us off at 10 minutes during it and told us we would be docked marks for being over out time..

Nancy is a decent teacher, it's easy to do well in her class. She does choose your groups for the projects which isn't great. You don't need the textbook to pass and do well, just take a few notes in class and use the things she mentioned in your projects and exams for an easy A.

Worst professor, lectures are confusing/repetitive. Received B- or higher on all assignments and midterms, but received a C on my final grade, I emailed her twice about my grade and she never responded. Very rude and unorganized. Told our class to not purchase the text book, then told us to study the text for the final. NEVER. AGAIN.

If I can give you one piece of advise then DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH NANCY NOWLAN. Be prepared for extreme confusion and disorganization. Yes, she is an easy marker however she picks favorites, is rude at times and basically the most useless teacher I've ever had. Don't even try to ask her questions about grades or help - she'll just chew you out.

Awful teacher. I do not know how she is a professor. Definitely the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. Grades are randomly distributed, and i squeezed by with a bare A, but would never take a class with her again. Probably the most disrespectful teacher I have ever had at cap. Right up there with Richard Hill. Two of them could write a book

Easy A if you want a lot of hassle from Nancy. She "throws shade" at people's presentations and tells them straight up they "did really bad". She is extremely unclear and unprofessional. Definitely not respected by students which make sense for how she treats them.
