I have never had to do so much homework for such a basic class. I managed an A, but this guy pretty much ruined my semester. I had no time to do anything but his 10 page assignments (due EVERY class). Unless you just like writing lots of papers and tons of group work take someone else!

I do not recommend that anyone waste their life in this mans class. He dosn't teach you, you just do hours upon hours of useless homework, and for what? He doesn't make you take tests. If you want a good grade make sure you have lots of examples to make your homework 15 pages long, anything less gets you a bad grade. Take someone else.

I hated this class more than any other. My homework each week was in excess of 10 pages (typed, single-spaced). It took HOURS to do, and I didn't make an A or B on hw until halfway though the semester. The material is easy, but he makes it difficult by grading you on technicalities that he thinks are important. Bottom line... take someone else.

This class is a challenge and you learn a lot. The material is easy, but you have to do homework as half of your grade and a group project/ presentation for the other half. He gives a lot of extra credit which you will need to make up for your first few homework grades. Once he likes you, its easy to get an A. Try hard and you will get an A

We never stuck to the syllabus. There was no objective grading component. His instructions for homework were always changing and never clear. He was unhelpful when responding to emails or questions. I would never recommend him as a teacher in this course. I feel like this was the biggest waste of tuition $$ ever. Take someone else's sectio

Great teacher, great guy. his lectures are a little boring at times, but his main goal is that his students understand the material. A lot of homework!!! But the homework beats taking his test! Take him! I really enjoyed the class.

This class is not fun or interesting. The homework that is due every class period takes forever to do. All that aside this was the easiest class I've ever taken the homework counts in place of taking tests and the presentation worth 450 points was incredibly easy. Take Akan for 315.

Excellent! Explains everything clearly and shows concern for students in general and on a personal level. He wants to see us suceed. It is a lot of homework, but it's easy and straight from the book, and to be honest, the homework taught me a lot. It was fun, an easy A, and worthwhile. I Recommend him.
