Not very understanding of students' needs outside of class. 2nd time taking a class with her. First time went smoothly. Second time not so much. I had many outside issues going on throughout the semester and she either did not care/did not fully understand. I believe she is a genuinely nice person.

Comment:

Dr. Ackerman is one of the best educators I have ever had. She takes a genuine interest in her students. You do need to study for her quizzes & tests. Basically, you get out what you put into in this class. If you have questions, concerns, or simply need advice, she goes above and beyond to satisfy your needs. This is a class you should take.

Very good teacher she helped me out a lot and when the semester was almost over I was a couple points under the next grade above so I asked her if I could get it bumped up so she gave me another easy assignment to do and she bumped it to the next grade for me. Very understandable

I learned alot in this class and had fun doing it. The concepts are explained so the students are able to easily understand. I dont understand all these negative reviews; the only thing I can figure is that all these people were the ones in my class that rarely showed up for class and complained about any homework assignment.
