AVIOID her!She is rude to all her students and grades harshly. Gave us review sheet for final and we probably learned 2 things on it out of 40. NONE of the stuff on the review sheet were on the final. test was extremely difficult. Gives out C's and D's on speeches like its nothing. Ive never had such an insensitive, rude teacher. DO NOT TAKE HER!

Prof. Cohill is a serious professor. She is caring, but doesn't like nonsense; she expects great work from you. You most certainly have to do your part, but with that being said, she most certainly does her part. She cares about what she's teaching, and has thorough grading criteria. Ensure you practice your speeches, and be professional.

She comes off as a little rude at first, but shes actually just a blunt amusing lady. Do your work and get ready to read. I had no clue what I was reading but if you've finessed the art of BS you should do fine in class discussions and quizzes. I still keep in contact as she organizes a Broadway field trip every year that's quite fun.

Overall, I would just skip the class and take something else instead. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!!!! It's another RCBC waste of money. Teacher takes long to reply. The only good thing is that she did comply with my 504 plan. Make sure you put lots of effort into the discussion boards. Lastly, she had lots of misspellings within her own posts and quizzes.

I would only recommend taking this class online. She is helpful with extending time for the 504 plans. However, takes long to respond to emails wants a lot from the students. I'm doing fairly well in the class but if you could skip it for another I would. Online is a better option to take it if necessary.

She is horrible. First you have to buy a $175 textbook with her name at the bottom of it for 2 chapters then it collects dust you will never use it again. She also gives exams on topics that were not covered in class. She gives these half-ass study guides that do nothing to help. She is overall a terrible teacher.

This class was mandatory for me. Took it during winter intercession, intense class but I would recommend it. Cohill expects a lot of work from you so I do not recommend taking this during the regular semester or you will be overwhelmed. Can't say for sure but I would expect that she does not take your other classes into consideration.

She was not helpful. she does not update her work, she uses the same material from 2010. She takes a week to respond back to emails. Her replies on discussions is not helpful. I would not reccomnd to take her class.

Confused and unclear instructions. Will not update her website from previous class and will not answer emails to clarify questions. Cranky, moody and ill-prepared even though College uses her authored book for this course. Probably taking too much on herself - Not a good teacher.

This teacher is the worst one that I have ever had with BCC. She is unclear to due dates, no outline to the flow of class, and not easy to get a hold of. I would not take this class for A&H elective. She doesn't represent the quality that I have experienced at BCC.
