Incredibly unapproachable, incredibly rude when asked questions. Boring lectures, only good thing is his note packet. Avoid at all costs. Course itself was good though

Would recommend avoiding going to lectures with him and spending that time more productively. He just reads out of the class notebook and doesn't really test anything that's not in the notes. Most students find the course content is quite dry so avoid cramming. Tests can be very tricky so make sure you pay attention to the details when studying.

The only upside to having him as a prof is that he sells a notebook at the bookstore, buy that and you won't have to go to class as he literally just repeats whatever is on there. His exams are full of "two of the above" and "all of the above." You really need to know the little details with him. I'd take this class with someone else if possible.

Pretty awful prof, very difficult to understand but he did make lecture notes which is helpful. You have to learn the entire course on your own, but he also frames a lot of the exam questions very tricky its quite ridiculous actually, make sure to know details.

Dr. Dibrov isn't very approachable outside of class but the course content is very straight forward. His lecture style could be more dynamic but he does a good job going over the information, and is really funny and gives lots of info about new discoveries which is great! Really enjoyed this class!

Great prof. Exams were straightforward. Just study the lecture notes. Attendance is necessary as he covers the problems that are very similar to those on the exams.

All testable material are in just one single booklet, and what he says and writes in class. Make sure to copy his calculation examples and study them. This year, his exams were very fair- no tricky and surprising questions at all. Might be one of the easiest and interesting course I've taken. Seems nice to students and willing to answer questions.

If you like dark humour, he is your guy. Booklet for the course contains all the notes you need, you just add here and there during class. Attendence mandatory, as he goes into depth. He is very passionate about this course, and even though he can be tough to talk to, his classes are fun to attend. Has easiest exams I have written in university! A+

He's a knowledgable prof, that gives a clear grading criteria and is a fair marker. While the course is really content heavy, he want students to succeed makes exams fair, in addition to that, he returns marks very quickly. He doesn't seem to enjoy people approaching him outside class, but his book of notes is very thorough @explaining the concepts

I think Dibrov is big fan of Skulachev and Mitchellian Thermodynamics but I am not sure why because the material is by far the most dry in all faculty of Science. Not a helpful prof, refuses to provide extra examples or sample exams. Really not approachable. Exam was brutal. If you skip class you will fail. Do not come late or you'll be criticized

This course is fairly straight forward, as long as you read the booklet of notes and memorize them. You don't need to go to lectures, since Dibrov just reads from the notes, and don't bother going to see him in person. His exams are full of "all of the above" and "two of the above" so you have to pay attention to little details.

Not a very good lecturer, you don't need to go to class to get a good mark. All the notes are in a booklet that you buy from the bookstore, and he pretty much just reads through them in class. Hard to follow as well in class sometimes, I ended up zoning out every time. Tests arent hard though, as long as you keep up reading the notes you'll be fine

The course itself is not difficult, prof is very clear on each test questions if you read the lecture materials and know them. Prof made lecture book, so you don't need textbook. He is very rude to students when one on one, but funny during the lectures. So, just read, memorize lecture notes and you will do well.

Can be hard to understand, and lectures are usually not helpful to learning the material. He reads directly from the course notes, so if you study those well you will do okay. Midterm was easy but the final was tough

Got an A+ in MBIO 2020 but put in extreme time and effort. Lectures are hard to understand but all his notes and testable information comes in a booklet. He just reads off the booklet in lectures so you can read ahead to understand. Lab can be challenging but preparing for labs helped me drastically. All straight forward MC.

the most rude professor I have come across. He is a terribly condescending man and if it weren't for the fact that I needed the course, i would have dropped based on his poor conduct alone. As for the class, just memorize the notes you buy from the bookstore. I didn't go to the last month of class.

Class is really interesting but professor is somewhat rude. He doesn't seem to understand that most students in this course are in first year and would not have enough Science foundation.
