He's a good teacher and reasonable too. If you try and work with him you'll get the A, just make sure to take his advice and to keep your writing clean and formal. Not a lot of work and plenty of time to prepare for essays. He's a laid back guy who'll hear you out I found.

Take his class if you can!!! Great teacher, caring, and super interesting. He cares about what he does but with a sense of being laid back. I really enjoyed this class and would recommend it to anyone of all writing levels. Ask for help if needed, participate in class and do all your work and its an easy A. This class was never over whelming 10/10

This was a great class. I already had experience writing a variety of papers but this class challenged me to think differently. I also enjoyed how with essays, you pretty much had free reign over the topic of your choice. As long as you fully understand what is required from the essay prompts and turn in every assignment you will do just fine.

Dont let the good ratings fool you. He gives you whatever grade he wants at the end and definitely plays favorites. Wipe his shoes for an A. His eyes wander with girls. Unorthodox and gets off topic very easily. Class is unorganized. No prompt or rubric for 5pg papers, so you really dont know how he graded your paper or how to write your paper.

I didn't think I could like English so much! Great professor, not a ridiculous workload, four, five page essays are the biggest chink of the grade. Show up every week and figure out how he wants things done and you won't have any problem passing. You'll get a lot out of his class if you put the work into it.

Professor Q is awesome! The class is very discussion based, so be ready to talk. He does tend to get off topic sometimes, but it still makes for good discussion. Its imperitive that you attend class, as he does switch things up. I found its better to email hiom with questions, he responds fairly quick. Take his class!

Pretty cool prof. and assignments are fairly easy, but it does take some time. 3 essays, 6 pages, 14 font, century schoolbook. It's more like 4-5 pages with his criteria. Quizzes on readings and questions in study guides are reiterated on the midterms. Talks a lot, good story teller and reader. No projects or pres.I would recommend this teacher!

Professor Q is seriously the man. He's quirky, but thats a given being that he's an English teacher. He's always there to help, and he'll work with you when it comes to assignements. His class revolves around discussion and opinions, so be ready to talk. he doesnt stick to syllabus, so go to class to get updates on assignments.

Overall a pretty cool guy. Deffinitely quirky and goes off on some random tangets, but the tangents can be pretty cool. Really likes people who talk/class discussions so don't take him if you like to just sit back. Would recommend him to just about anyone

He is goofy and would go off on rabbit trails and I couldn't ever follow him. Half the time I was so lost, I'm surprised I even passed the class. He hardly sticks to what he says he's going to do in class which makes it hard to follow assignments. I didn't care for this class too much.

In the beginning he seemed to be an awesome teacher but it looks as if when he stepped inside that door he had this attitude going on...but it cleared up right when he started lecturing and reading off the book like he got all into it. I admit he does grade like a Harvard Prof. choose him wisely, has favorites in class so try to kiss a$$ haha

He is a very laid back professor. He expects you to read every story and every poem on the syllabus. You will need to be at 90% of all class meetings to stay on his good side. I enjoy lit, but I didnt show up enough-- he still picked me to be his favorite because I talked. He will like you if you initiate discussion in class. Didnt have a final.
