AMAZING teacher. class extremely easy, no book, easy A. He makes class extremely fun and interesting. Tests are easy and sometimes open-note. Class is mandatory for the quiz password at the end but it is worth it because I was never bored during class. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN!

Downs is a great teacher. This is the only class in my schedule where I don't constantly count down the minutes until class lets out. He gives you more than half the test questions as a study guide and the others come mainly from videos in class. Pay attention to his comments on the videos. Easy A if you go to class...and you won't regret doing so.

Fall 2010 he became stopped being hard. He started just caring about rating therefore making the class extremely easy. The end of class quizzes are just for attendance (he give you a code and you go home and take a quiz). He basically gave us all the test questions. Hes a great guy and a very good teacher. Hopefully he continue with this method.

Professor Downs is an amazing teacher! He wants you to pass and offers extra credit occasionally. Go to class in order to take the easy quizzes. Study EVERYTHING for the tests and you will do great. The tests are hard, but the material is interesting and easy to study. I made practice questions with all the slides and that helped a lot! Take him!

I really enjoy professor downs class. He is an exciting teacher and this class isn't your easy A, you have to work for it. Study, take good notes, memorize everything he says, and do the quizzes. He makes the class enjoyable and relates things to college life. i loved him and think hes a great teacher with high expectations for this students.

I took this class and I have to disagree with all these bad reviews of him. This class is not hard. PRS quiz points are easy. Powerpoint's are online. He gives lots of current real world examples and makes class fun to go to His tests can be hard so you do have to study for those, they are much harder then the quizzes.Overall, the class is not hard

great teacher, boring class. If you go to all the classes you get easy quiz points, but the class is hard to stay awake in and the test are confusing.Take notes even though he does powerpoints and good luck

You have to go to class and take notes because his test questions are directly from what he says in class. He's a fun teacher who gives real world examples. I don't know why every is saying his test are hard. If you show up to class and pay attention you'll pass easy.

I am straight A student. I do not play with classes. This teacher is completely incompetent. If you have the least interest in your grades, please avoid this class. I asked repeatedly about questions concerning the exams, he always referred me to the TAs. He is extremely condescending and loves to patronize his students, as well as his TAs.

This teacher thinks he is ALOT smarter than he really is! Unresponsive to emails, unfair wording of quizes and tests are MUCH harder than the material he does in class! Tests are rediculas and he is unwilling to help if grade is close! Tries to embarass students! Take anybody else. Didn't teach HOW to marketing, just what marketing is. BORING!
